    摘要: A singular point removing unit (12) removes a singular point as invisible high-frequency component noise from a degraded video signal and a reference video signal. A pixel value correcting unit (13) removes pixel-value bias added to the degraded video signal. The singular point removing unit (12) transforms the video signal into a spatial frequency, removes a high-frequency component, and restores the video signal by inverse transformation, or removes a singular point by using an averaging filter or a median filter. The pixel value correcting unit (13) obtains the correlation between the pixel values of the reference video signal and the corresponding pixel values of the degraded video signal, and corrects the pixel values of the reference video signal or the degraded video signal so as to match the pixel values of the degraded video signal with the pixel values of the reference video signal.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are provided to improve large field of view CT image acquisition by using at least two scanning procedures: (i) one with the radiation source and detector centered and (ii) one in an offset configuration. The imaging data obtained from both of the scanning procedures is used in the reconstruction of the image. In addition, a method and apparatus are provided for detecting motion in a reconstructed image by generating a motion map that is indicative of the regions of the reconstructed image that are affected by motion artifacts. Optionally, the motion map may be used for motion estimation and/or motion compensation to prevent or diminish motion artifacts in the resulting reconstructed image. An optional method for generating a refined motion map is also provided.

Voxel density scores the local significance of data trends within a volume, such as a 3-D seismic volume, to assist with the enhancement of these trends.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for selectively blurring parts of an image set according to differences in disparity between successive images. As a result, the one-dimensional ringing edge artifacts, intrinsic to autostereoscopic displays, are hidden, thereby improving the perceived image quality of a multi-view autostereoscopic image. The method may involve detecting regions of disparity between adjacent views, and then blurring those regions by weighted local pixel averaging. The relationship between the blur radius and the disparity is preferentially non-linear to maintain sharpness of low disparity regions.
