In order to position the light points concurring to form a high number of high-definition figures, which can be alternatively activated on a variable-message light board, the technique is provided of constructing each alternative figure through pre-established grids on which the knots are to be located which are to correspond to the light points that form the figure itself, and of employing for all alternative figures grids which are identical to one another, as well as of performing relative translations of said grids in order to locate relative positions with no points in common or with a umber of points in common which, though decreases the total number of points, does nor give rise, in case of employment of optical fibres, to an increase in the number of total bundles.

Ein Wechselverkehrszeichen (1) (Fig. 2) weist eine Lichtquelle (2) mit einem Hohlspiegel (3) sowie ein Lichtfaserbündel (6) auf, das mit seinem Eintrittsende bei der Lichtquelle (2) und mit seinem Austrittsende mit einzelnen Fasersträngen (9) bei einer Frontplatte (11) endet, wobei die Enden Lichtpunkte bilden. Um innerhalb der Lichtübertragungsstrecke auftretende Toleranzen der einzelnen Bauteile zu kompensieren und um insgesamt eine gute Gleichmäßigkeit des dargestellten Zeichens zu erreichen, ist als eine Maßnahme vorgesehen, daß der eintrittsseitige Endbereich des Lichtfaserbündels mit seinen einzelnen Fasersträngen (9) schräg zum Licht-Eintrittsende zusammenlaufend ausgebildet ist. Man erhält dadurch eine weitgehend homogene Einstrahlung in die einzelnen Faserstränge. Austrittsseitig läßt sich der Lichtaustrittswinkel für jeden Lichtpunkt einzeln verstellen, so daß hier Intensitätsunterschiede auf einfache Weise nochmals ausgeglichen werden können.

A smart safety garment with signal lights includes a basic garment, at least a pair of turn signal lights embedded on the external surface of the basic garment, and an electronic assembly for the control. The management and monitoring of the smart safety garment includes a control unit, the at least a pair of turn signal lights being connected or connectable to the control unit. The electronic assembly further includes a braking sensor connected or connectable to the control unit and adapted to perceive a deceleration and to generate a corresponding braking signal intended to the control unit. The control unit is configured to power up at least a pair of turn signal lights according to the braking signal.
