The purpose of the invention is to markedly reduce the radiation of sound from the machine to all observation points in the surrounding field with a very lightweight, compact, non-airtight structure which does not impair maintenance or repair of the machine.

To this end, the position of the element relative to the outer casing (30) is detected by a detector (50) and adjusted by a translator (51).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung zur Kompensation des Schalldurchganges durch eine Wand (14) unter Verwendung von Schallgebern (11), mittels welchen den von der Wand abgestrahlten Schallwellen gegenphasig ausgesendete Schallwellen überlagert werden. Dazu ist an der Wand mindestens ein Körperschallschwingungsaufnehmer (12) angeordnet, welcher die Schwingungen der Wand senkrecht zur Wandfläche erfaßt. Zumindest auf der Seite der Wand, die der ursächlichen Schallbelastung gegenüberliegt, sind eine Vielzahl von Schallgebern (11) über die Wandfläche verteilt angeordnet. Jeder Schallgeber ist so aufgebaut, daß er Volumenänderungen erzeugen kann; die Ansteuerung durch den Körperschallschwingungsaufnehmer (12) erfolgt in der Art, daß die durch die schwingende Wand verursachten Volumenänderungen des Luftraumes im Bereich um den Schallgeber (11) durch die von dem Schallgeber (11) im gleichen Bereich verursachten Volumenänderungen zeitgleich kompensiert werden.
