摘要: Conductor wires 2a and 2b are sandwiched between two elastomer sheets 1a and 1b whose adhesive layers face each other, and both adhere. When the elastomer sheets 1a and 1b are their natural lengths without being subjected to any tension, the conducting wires 2a and 2b are wound around into spiral shapes and contract. When tension is applied to the elastomer sheets 1a and 1b, the number of spiral turns of the conductor wires 2a and 2b decreases according to its extension and the conductor wires 2a and 2b extend. The conductor wires 2a and 2b are electrically connected to and fixed to a circuit element at both ends of the elastomer sheets 1a and 1b. As a result, it is possible to mass-produce, at low costs, highly stretchable wirings in which a change in resistance values due to extension thereof is small.

摘要: It is aimed to provide a novel curl cord routing structure capable of alleviating a stress concentration on fixing parts of a curl cord routed between a supporting body and a movable body by a simple structure. In a routing structure for a curl cord 14 for power supply routed between a supporting body 10 and a movable body 12 displaceably mounted relative to the supporting body 10, the curl cord 14 includes a spiral portion 40 spirally wound and free to expand and contract and is fixed to cord fixing portions 46, 48 respectively provided on the side of the supporting body 10 and the side of the movable body 12 on opposite sides of the spiral portion 40, and pressure-bonding/holding portions 54 to be pressure-bonded and held in a state where the spiral portion 40 is extended are provided on sides closer to the spiral portion 40 than the respective cord fixing portions 46, 48.

摘要: The present invention relates to conveyor belts having rip detection systems which utilize microcoil sensor wires which offer improved durability as compared to conventional microcoil sensor wires. This higher degree of durability increases the service life of the rip detection system and allows for the conveyor belt to be used reliably over an extended time period without the need to replace damaged microcoil sensor wires within the rip detection system of the conveyor belt. The present invention more specifically discloses a conveyor belt comprising (a) an elastomeric body having a load carrying surface and a parallel pulley engaging surface; (b) a reinforcement ply disposed within the elastomeric body; and (c) a rip detection sensor in the form of a microcoil sensor wire (1) which is configured in an endless loop, wherein the microcoil sensor wire is comprised of an elastomeric core (3) having an electrically conductive wire (2) spirally wrapped around the elastomeric core.

摘要: A seat-to-seat cable system for transmitting data and for power that is flexible and lightweight and a method for manufacturing the same. The cable system includes one or more bundles of conductive wire comprising multiple strands that are individually coated with an insulation layer. The bundles of conductive wire are covered by wire jacketing material and are further covered by a nylon braiding material. The cable is preferably made by coating individual wire strands with an insulating material, and then forming wire strands into wire. A thin insulating material may then be extruded over the bundles of wire strands, which are then twisted and/or shielded into cables forming a subassembly. The group of wires is formed into cables. A thin insulating material may be extruded over the cable subassemblies as a jacketing layer before the cable is cut to the desired length and braided or jacketed.
