Abstract:
PROBLEMS In a contact member provided with a plurality of protrusions in a curved portion and a switch device using the contact member, deterioration of an operating sensation is caused not to occur even though a pressing point is deviated from the center. SOLVING MEANS A dome-shaped curved portion 12 is formed in a contact member 10 formed of a metal leaf spring material, and three protrusions 13a, 13b, and 13c protrude toward a substrate at the periphery of a center O1. The extension direction of the leaf spring material that forms the contact member 10 is the X direction. The protrusions 13b and 13c are disposed at positions where the circular contours thereof do not overlap with a vertical center line Ox extending in the extension direction. Therefore, the positions of the protrusions may be displaced with respect to a direction in which an operating sensation is deteriorated due to the influence of the extension direction of the material, so that when a position distant from the center 01 is pressed, an area where the operating sensation is not deteriorated may be enlarged in a wide range in the X direction and the Y direction.
Abstract:
[Object] To provide a push switch with a good click feel and a small operation sound. [Solution] A push switch includes a movable contact (20) including a dome part (21a) that is shaped like a dome and configured to be inverted in shape when pressed, and a fixed contact (10) including a first fixed contact (10a), the movable contact (20) being configured to be brought into contact with and away from the first fixed contact (10a). The push switch is configured such that an operating load necessary to press the movable contact (20) gradually increases after the movable contact (20) starts to be pressed, decreases thereafter when the dome part (21a) is inverted, and increases again when the movable contact (20) is further pressed, and the dome part (21a) contacts the first fixed contact (10a) after an inflection point at which the decreased operating load starts to increase again.
Abstract:
A switch (1) comprises a key top (5) to be pushed down; an operation knob (6) pushed down by the key top (5) to rotate around a pivot point (P), having a working portion (6b) ; and a contact rubber switch (10) pushed down by the working portion (6b) of the operation knob (6). The rubber switch (10) is provided with a push-button portion (12) having an upper surface pushed down by the working portion (6b) of the operation knob (6) and an under surface formed with a movable contact (14); and a skirt portion (13) extending obliquely downward from an edge of the push-button portion (12). The skirt portion (13) has a thinner portion (13c) on the side of the pivot point (P) of the operation knob (6) and a thicker portion (13a) on the opposite side of the pivot point (P). The push-button portion (12) has an upper surface inclined upward toward the side of the pivot point (P). The switch (1) has advantages such as simple structure, reliable conduction, and excellent click feeling when operated.
Abstract:
The invention proposes a switch comprising a first peripheral contact (30A) and a second peripheral contact (30B) and a third central fixed contact (36), a movable contact element (26) which can be displaced and deformed elastically from a stable rest state, which comprises a peripheral zone (54) capable of bearing simultaneously against the two first contacts (30A, 30B) in order to establish a first switching path, which comprises a central section on which an actuating element (28) acts, and which is capable of then bearing against the third contact (36) with a view to establishing a second switching path, characterized in that the movable contact element (26) occupies an initial raised rest position in which the peripheral zone (54) bears against neither of the two first contacts (30A, 30B), and in that the movable contact element (26) occupies a final lowered switching position in which the peripheral zone (54) bears simultaneously against the two first contacts (30A, 30B) in order to establish the first switching path.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a dome shaped spring including: a dome shaped spring section in which buckling occurs by pushing, wherein at least a portion of a neutral face of a movable portion when buckling of the dome shaped spring section occurs is an aspherical shape.
Abstract:
The invention provides a movable contact for a two-step push-on switch which can realize an excellent sense and a long life period while decreasing the width, even on a flat stationary-contact forming surface of a printed circuit board, a flexible printed circuit board or the like, and also a two-step push-on switch. A movable contact has: a rectangular annular peripheral plate portion 2; an oval center plate portion 3 which is upward inflatingly curved; and a pair of connecting plate portions 4, 4 which connect an inner edge of the peripheral plate portion 2 to an outer edge of said center plate portion 3 on a center line X which is parallel to long side portions 2a, 2a of said peripheral plate portion 2. The movable contact is disposed on a flat stationary-contact forming surface of a printed circuit board, a flexible printed circuit board, or the like, and an adhesive tape 9 for fixing the movable contact is bonded from a side of the upper face, thereby configuring a push-on switch.
Abstract:
A switch biasing member (20) is provided that features substantially transverse apposed resilient arm pairs (A₁, A₂) and (B₁, B₂) that extend from a support member (5) to respective preferably arcuately shaped spaced-apart free-ends (14, 14′) and (16, 16′) that are operative to engage an actuator (2) and impose respective forces (F₁) and (F₂) that respectively increasingly and then decreasingly appose movement of actuator (2) axially between two positions such that the combination of forces (F₁) and (F₂) provide a tactile feel to operation of actuator (2).
