Abstract:
A keyboard module suitable for being applied to an electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a display unit and the keyboard module. The keyboard module is electrically connected to the display unit. The keyboard module includes a supporting structure, a membrane circuit sheet, and a vibrator. The supporting structure has a carrying surface. The membrane circuit sheet is disposed on the carrying surface of the supporting structure and has a plurality of triggers. The vibrator is connected to the supporting structure.
Abstract:
A keypad for an electronic device is provided and includes a substrate, a plurality of frets disposed with the substrate and a plurality of mechanical keys disposed with the substrate and arrayed in rows interleaved among the plurality of frets, at least one of the keys being deflectable toward a position at which a switch of a circuit is affected and a capacitive sensor layer disposed between the frets and the keys and the substrate to register movement of a capacitive element across the frets and the keys.
Abstract:
A key activation system for use in an electronic device, such as a handheld communication device is provided. The system comprises an activation mechanism associated with a key in the system, a first feedback system and a second feedback system. The activation mechanism is associated with the key activation system and provides a first feedback sense when the activation mechanism has triggered the first activation condition. The second feedback system provides a second feedback sense indicating when the key triggers the second activation condition. In the system, the second feedback system operates independently from the activation mechanism and the first activation condition is triggered before the second activation condition when the activation mechanism is initially engaged. An activation mechanism may be centrally located for a set of keys.
Abstract:
A lever switch (100) has a base member (1), a first switch knob member (2), a first moderation mechanism (50), a substrate (5) having a first contact member (5a), and a first slider (6) that comes into contact with and separates from the first contact member (5a). The base member (1) has a first supporting surface (1a) formed along an outer peripheral surface of a column centered on a rotational axis of the first switch knob member (2) and a second supporting surface (1b) formed as a curved surface having a larger diameter than the first supporting surface (1a) on one side across the rotational axis, and supports the first moderation mechanism (50). The first switch knob member (2) includes a first supported surface and a second supported surface, and the second supported surface is provided with a first cam portion. The first supported surface is rotatably supported on the first supporting surface (1a), the second supported surface is rotatably supported on the second supporting surface (1b), and the first slider (6) is held on a side opposite to a side where the second supporting surface (1b) is provided across the rotational axis.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for controlling electric or electronic organs, comprising a pad (3) hinged about an articulation axis (7) for the pivotal movement of the pad (3) between a rest position and an enable position, and location means (43) of a control organ such as a user's finger (12) inside a control surface (44) on the pad (3). The device further includes means (14) for applying a vibratory movement to the pad (3), wherein said means can be activated according to the control organ positions detected by the location means and are provided so as to apply the vibratory movement to the pad (3) via the articulation axis (7, 9) of the pad (3).
