    摘要: Das Überwachungsmodul (50) zur Schutzleiter-Überwachung weist eine Überwachungsschaltung (2) auf, über die überprüft wird, ob ein Schutzleiter ordnungsgemäß angeschlossen ist. Bei Detektion einer Schutzleiterunterbrechung identifiziert die Überwachungsschaltung (2) dies als einen ersten Fehlerfall (F1) und gibt ein erstes Fehlersignal (S1) aus. Die Überwachungsschaltung (2) ist ergänzend zur Speicherung des ersten Fehlerfalls (F1) ausgebildet und gibt im Falle einer nur temporären, nicht mehr vorliegenden Schutzleiterunterbrechung ein zweites Fehlersignal (S2) aus. Durch diese Maßnahme wird ein verbesserter Personenschutz auch beispielsweise bei Wackelkontakten etc. erzielt.

    摘要: Apparatus is disclosed for detecting a discontinuity or impedance irregularity in an active line, a neutral return line and/or an earth return path of an electrical power distribution network. The apparatus includes means for measuring a change in voltage and/or current flow associated with a deliberate switching of a known impedance and/or a naturally occurring random switching of an impedance in the electrical network wherein the change in voltage and/or current flow is due to a discontinuity or impedance irregularity in the active line, neutral line and/or earth return path. The apparatus also includes means for implementing a first algorithm for identifying the discontinuity or impedance irregularity in presence of allowable variation in voltage and/or current flow that may mimic or hide a discontinuity or impedance irregularity in the active line, neutral return line and/or earth return path including a reverse current flow through the earth return path. The apparatus further includes means for comparing a result of the measuring with a reference to provide an indication of the discontinuity or impedance irregularity. A method for detecting a discontinuity or impedance irregularity in an active line, a neutral return line and/or an earth return path of an electrical power distribution network is also disclosed.

    摘要: The continuity of the coil (11) of the actuating solenoid (9) of an electric power switch (1) is detected through utilization of a signaling device (45), such as a light emitting diode (LED) that monitors energization of a dc power supply (25) fed from the source side of the coil (11). A circuit (51) energized from the other side of the coil (11) generates a dc voltage V2 that is applied to the gate electrode of an electronic switch (47) shunting the LED (45). The voltage V2 is greater than the dc supply voltage to bias the electronic switch (47) off so that the LED (45) is illuminated when there is continuity through the coil (11). If the coil (11) fails, V2 will be zero and the electronic switch (47) is turned on to short circuit the LED (45) to signal the failure of the coil (11).
