摘要: A ground fault detection system for a power system having a DC link, a battery bank, a link capacitor unit connected to the DC link, and plural power converters connected to the DC link. The power converters convert first DC power from the DC link to at least one of AC power or second DC power for powering at least one electrical load. A control unit disconnects the battery bank from the DC link responsive to detection of a ground fault, to deactivate operation of the power converters, and to sequentially at least partially activate, with power from the link capacitor unit, each of the power converters individually until a sensed voltage signal of the DC link is indicative of the ground fault being associated with one of the power converters.

摘要: A hybrid propulsion system for powering vehicles such as class 8 DOT classified semi-tractor trucks under normal load conditions and at highway speeds comprises an internal combustion engine, an AC generator powered by the engine, DC battery packs, an AC/DC controller, and an AC electric motor driving the drive train of the vehicle. The AC generator and the DC battery packs provide input to the AC/DC controller, which, in turn, converts the DC input from the DC battery packs via a DC circuit to AC so that the output from the AC/DC controller to the electric motor is AC for powering the vehicle. The DC battery packs may comprise thin plate flooded lead acid cells and may be connected in series, in parallel or a combination thereof. Vehicles may be retrofitted to incorporate the propulsion system.

The apparatus further includes a power source side connector removably connected to a socket of an external power source, a vehicle side connector removably connected to a power receiving connector of the electric vehicle and a first and a second board that the power supply circuit and the control circuit are mounted, respectively. A power feeding line block provided separately from the first and the second board and having metal plates constituting the power feeding lines. The metal plates are insertion-molded in the power feeding line block.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for monitoring electrical insulation resistance in an electric system (3), said method comprising: supplying electric power from an external power supply (4) via a first conductor (5) and a second conductor (6); feeding said electric power to the electric system (3) via a first current collector (7) and a second current collector (8), each of which are configured to be electrically connected to said electric system (3) via a first main contactor (10) and a second main contactor (11), respectively; and monitoring said insulation resistance by means of an insulation resistance monitoring unit (16) associated with a control unit (12) and connected to each of said main contactors (10, 11). The method further comprises: maintaining said main contactors (10, 11) in a closed state when the current collectors (7, 8) are disconnected from said conductors (5, 6), thereby allowing monitoring of the insulation resistance; opening said main contactors (10, 11) and subsequently connecting the current collectors (7, 8) to the conductors (5, 6); and closing said main contactors (10, 11), thereby allowing monitoring of the insulation resistance. The invention also relates to an arrangement for monitoring electrical insulation resistance in an electric system.

摘要: Disclosed are a carrier communication method based on electric automobile charging/discharging, comprising the following steps: S1: after being powered up and started, an electric automobile detecting whether a carrier signal from a peripheral device is received through an interface wire harness and whether the carrier signal is correct; S2: when detecting the carrier signal and detecting that the carrier signal is correct, the electric automobile receiving the carrier signal through the interface wire harness; and S3: the electric automobile performing coupling and filtering on the received carrier signal to convert the carrier signal into a standard carrier signal, and demodulating the standard carrier signal into a digital signal to obtain information of the peripheral device. The method, on the basis of not increasing the number of wire harness, may implement data transmission and sharing between an automobile and ECU modules of a peripheral device, and carrier communication with other signal lines as communication media at the same time, so as to avoid construction and investment of a new communication network, and reduce manufacturing cost and maintenance difficulty. Further disclosed are a carrier communication system and a carrier apparatus based on electric automobile charging/discharging.
