The control module (16) is further configured to transmit a reference signal via the at least one output (12) to the one or more radio units (120). The control module (16) is further configured to receive a loopback version of the reference signal via the at least one input (14) from the one or more radio units (120). The control module (16) is further configured to determine transmission control information based on an attenuation of the reference signal determined based on the loopback version of the reference signal. The transmission control information comprises information related to a per-radio unit transmission power to be used by the one or more radio units (120) for transmissions on the one or more wireless fronthaul links. The control module (16) is further configured to provide the transmission control information to the one or more radio units (120) via the at least one output (12).

For example, information derived from the multipath detection may be used to supplement and/or enhance a time of arrival estimation algorithm. The subject system also provides a sounding protocol that allows devices to perform one or more signal exchanges to facilitate generating the aggregated wideband channel estimate and/or to facilitate performing the multipath detection. The protocol allows the devices to perform signal exchanges over one or more channels within a coherence time, and also provides for security mechanisms as well as failure recovery.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for estimating a channel between a receiving node and a first transmitting node. The method comprises determining (210) a first and a second sub-carrier associated with the channel, and multiplying (220) a signal received on the first sub-carrier with a first number to form a first resulting signal. The first number multiplied with a known signal transmitted by a second transmitting node on the first sub-carrier equals to a constant value.     摘要: The present invention discloses a method and device for judging Radio Link Failure (RLF) in Carrier Aggregation (CA) technology, which are used to effectively judge whether a radio link is failed or not in CA technology. Said method comprises: on an evaluation point, comparing the determined radio link quality parameter of each carrier participating in the RLF judgement with the corresponding radio link quality parameter threshold, determining whether to trigger an in-sync indication or out-of-sync indication on the evaluation point, and judging whether the radio link of the User Equipment (UE) is failed according to the number of the continuously received in-sync indications or out-of-sync indications. The embodiment of the present invention determines whether to trigger an in-sync indication or out-of-sync indication by comparing the radio link quality parameters of the carriers participating in the RLF judgement with the corresponding radio link quality parameter thresholds, and thereby judges that whether the radio link is failed or not in CA technology.
