摘要: A system includes a non-transitory memory and one or more hardware processors. The hardware processors are configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to perform operations including generating a service mapping illustrating a plurality of discovered configuration items connected to a network and one or more connections between the plurality of discovered configuration items, wherein at least one of the plurality of discovered configuration items comprises a virtual platform server, receiving input data from the generated service mapping associated with the virtual platform server, wherein the input data indicates one or more manual configuration item additions, validating the input data of the one or more manual configuration item additions, update the service mapping to include the one or more manual configuration item additions, generating a specified number of tasks to be performed by the service mapping, and determining an amount of time for the updated service mapping to respond to the set number of tasks.

摘要: Systems and methods for managing a network are disclosed. One method can comprise determining presence of a first network device associated with a network. If the first network device is not present, a second network device can be configured to assume authority of the network. If the first network device is present, the second network device can be configured to join the network. Other aspects relate to providing services in an environment having multiple service providers.

摘要: A method and apparatus for assessing the compatibility of a selected network feature with the network features of an existing telecommunications network 10 comprises providing an abstraction of each network feature in the form of a data model 100 which defines the relationships between any network elements 12 or nodes 27, software elements 13 and software features 14 required for each network feature. Information 19 is then collected about the existing telecommunications network 10 to identity the deployment of the network features in the existing network. This information is then combined with the data model 100 to build a feature compatibility matrix 107 which defines the compatibility of network features in the existing telecommunications network 10. The matrix 107 can then be interrogated with information defining the parameters of the selected feature to be added or upgraded to determine whether the selected feature is compatible with features of the existing network.

摘要: The techniques and/or systems described herein implement a network management service configured to read and write a state of a network for various applications (e.g., network management applications) so that the applications can operate independently. The network management service is configured to read an observed network state and provide the observed network state to the applications. Subsequently, the network management service receives proposed network states from the applications and uses a state dependency graph to determine whether state conflicts exist between the proposed network states. The network management service also determined whether defined policies are violated by the proposed network states. Finally, the network management service is configured to generate a target network state by merging non-conflicting proposed network states that comply with defined policies and to update (e.g., write) the network state based on the generated target network state.

摘要: The Remote Embedded Device Update Platform Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“REDUP”) transforms telemetry inputs via REDUP components into remote embedded updates outputs. The REDUP may include a memory and processor with instructions to: obtain a remote embedded device connection request message from a remote embedded device and analyze the message to determine a version of embedded instructions on the remote embedded device. With that, the REDUP may determine if other remote embedded devices similar to the remote embedded device have provided request messages by searching a remote embedded device connection request message database. This allows the REDUP to determine if a potential issue requiring updates on the remote embedded device exists. With that, the REDUP may determine and provide an update for the remote embedded device.

摘要: A network element of a software-defined network includes a data transfer interface (211) for receiving and transmitting data and a processing system (212) for constructing, in accordance with configuration data received from a controller system of the software-defined network, a configuration system for managing data to be forwarded. The processing system is adapted to configure a first portion of the configuration system to associate, with data received at the network element, a configuring entity-specific identifier (CEID) that identifies a configuring entity, for example an application, related to the received data. The configuring entity-specific identifier constitutes at least a part of metadata associated with the received data. Appropriate other portions of the configuration system are configured to use this metadata when determining actions to be carried out in conjunction with the received data. The configuring entity-specific identifier prevents conflicts between different configuring entities, for example applications, in the configuration system.

摘要: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a network device configured to receive an anomaly database of a first image that stores a set of differences between the first image and a base image. The network device is configured to compare the anomaly database of the first image with an anomaly database of a second image storing a set of differences between the second image and the base image to determine if the first and second images include at least one incompatible critical feature or incompatible non-critical feature. The network device is configured to send a signal associated with a first action if the first and second images include the at least one incompatible critical feature. The network device is configured to send a signal associated with a second action different from the first action if the first and second images include the at least one incompatible non-critical feature.
