摘要: The present invention discloses a congestion processing method. The method relates to a data transmission system, the data transmission system includes a source host, a router, and a destination host, a transmission link among the source host, the router, and the destination host bears a plurality of streams, and a transmission priority is configured for each of the plurality of streams; and the method includes: sending, by the source host, a resource data packet on each stream based on a transmit rate of each stream, where when the router determines that the transmission link is congested, the router sets a congestion flag in the resource data packet; receiving, from each stream, a response data packet forwarded by the router, where at least one response data packet on at least one stream includes a congestion notification flag; and performing congestion processing based on the congestion notification flag and the transmission priority of each stream. According to the congestion processing method provided in embodiments of the present invention, congestion of the transmission link is relieved, data transmission efficiency is improved, and data transmission on a stream with a high priority is ensured.

摘要: In a method of identifying matching packets at different locations in a network, a first plurality of packets is received at a first location in the network, and a first subset thereof is selected in accordance with a filter. A second plurality of packets is received at a second location in the network, and a second subset thereof is selected in accordance with the same filter. Each packet in the first and second subsets is parsed to extract invariant header fields from an outermost IP header inwards, until a minimal set of invariant header fields is obtained for that packet, or until it is determined that a minimal set is not obtainable for that packet. A packet signature is computed from the minimal set for each packet having a minimal set, and the packet signatures are compared to identify matching packets in the first and second subsets.

摘要: In one embodiment, a device determines that a latency between a receive timeslot of a channel hopping schedule of the device and a transmit timeslot of the channel hopping schedule is greater than a latency threshold for a particular traffic flow to be received during the receive timeslot. The device requests an additional transmit timeslot for the channel hopping schedule from a parent node of the device in the network. The device receives an indication of a newly allocated transmit timeslot for the channel hopping schedule from the parent node. The device maps the receive timeslot to one of the transmit timeslots of the channel hopping schedule, wherein the particular traffic flow is to be forwarded to a second device during the mapped transmit timeslot.
