The apparatus for interactive display of any portion of a spherical image preferably comprises a digital processor apparatus (219) for storing digital data representative of at least one image having a 180 degree field-of-view. In order to view a selected image portion without warp or distortion at the seam between opposite hemispherical images, edge filtering is applied to eliminate a halo effect.

摘要： A video disk player reproduces a series of still pictures prerecorded on a plurality of video disks contained in a removable magazine (2). Supported alongside the magazine is an erasable, non-volatile memory (5) for containing data related to the pictures. The memory (5) is locked alongside the magazine (2) when outside the player. When inserted into the player, the memory is detached from the magazine and connected into the player circuit (7A). The player is used to generate picture file data prescribing an organized arrangement for viewing the pictures, including data pertaining to the assignment of pictures into one or more albums, the arrangement of the viewing order, the establishment of automated viewing times, the addition of text, and the like. The picture file data is stored in the non-volatile magazine memory (5). To view an album, the magazine (2) is inserted into the player and the magazine memory (5) is connected into the player circuit (7A). An album is chosen by reference to the stored picture file data.

Lorsqu'on appuie sur un bouton du dispositif de commande (24) l'interrupteur vidéo (48) assume son deuxième état et seule l'image vidéo est projetée. 摘要： According to an image information retrieval/display apparatus, an original image is represented by a hierarchical structure from a global image of high level to a local image of low level in accordance with resolutions thereof. Only difference information between the images of the respective levels is coded and stored, so that the number of codes will not be increased. When an operator directly designates any partial area within the displayed global image, local images are sequentially retrieved. By adding and combining the difference information of the retrieved local image in the designated area within the global image, the desired local image can be displayed at high speed.
