摘要: An endoscope (100) or other endoscopic instrument (100) is provided with multiple image sensors (214, 216, 218) incorporated into the distal tip (105, 106), each capturing a portion of the image provided from an optical imaging system (205). The output from the multiple sensors (214, 216, 218) is combined and manipulated into a single high resolution image (215) which can then be displayed to the user. A virtual horizon rotation feature is also provided which can rotate a displayed image within a combined field of view including data from the multiple image sensors. Various light directing element designs (212, 213, 222, 224, 402) are provided to direct image light to the multiple sensors (214, 216, 218).

摘要: A multiple imager camera (10) includes a block (20), an imager (16), and an alignment apparatus (24). The block (20) is configured to direct an image to a plurality of imagers (16A, 16B, 16C) located proximate to a plurality of apertures (22A, 22B, 22C) defined by the block (20). The imager (16) of the plurality of imagers (16A, 16B, 16C) is configured to receive the image through an aperture (22) of the plurality of apertures (22A, 22B, 22C). The alignment apparatus (24) is interposed between the block (20) and the imager (16). The alignment apparatus (24) is configured to allow for six degrees of freedom to align the imager (16) with the image. The six degrees of freedom include adjustment along a x-axis (41), a y-axis (42), and a z-axis (43) of the aperture (22), and adjustment about a pitch-axis (44), a yaw-axis (45), and a roll-axis (46) of the aperture (22). The alignment apparatus (24) is further configured to fixedly couple the imager (16) to the block (20) after the imager (16) is aligned with the image.

摘要: The present application relates to a panorama stitching camera, including: a base provided with a fixing plate; a main shaft passing vertically through the fixing plate; and a plurality of lenses disposed at one end of the main shaft, wherein, a limiting protrusion and a shaft end retaining ring that abut respectively against two opposite sides of the fixing plate are disposed at the other end of the main shaft. When the angle of view of the panorama stitching camera is being adjusted, the plurality of lenses can rotate around the axis of the main shaft simply by rotation of the main shaft. Thus, the adjustment of the angle of view of the lens along the circumferential direction of the main shaft is achieved, and the operation of adjusting the angle of view of the panorama stitching camera is greatly simplified. Thus, the problem that the angle of view of an existing panorama stitching camera cannot be adjusted readily during use is solved.

Images can be recorded using an stand-alone imaging device having wide angle lenses and/or normal lenses. Images from the imaging device can be combined using methods described herein. In an embodiment, a pixel correspondence between a first image and a second image can be determined, based on a corresponding overlap area associated with the first image and the second image. Corresponding pixels in the corresponding overlap area associated with the first image and the second image can be merged based on a weight assigned to each of the corresponding pixels.

The method presents, during an audio call through a wireless communication network with a second device, a selectable user-interface (UI) item on the first mobile device for switching from the audio call to the video conference. The method receives a selection of the selectable UI item. The method initiates the video conference without terminating the audio call. The method terminates the audio call before allowing the first and second devices to present audio and video data exchanged through the video conference.
