摘要: A method for rendering 3D audio is provided. The method includes: obtaining a to-be-output audio signal, wherein the to-be-output audio signal comprises one or more audio layers; selecting a to-be-filtered audio layer from the one or more audio layers; selecting a rendering Head-Related Transfer Function, HRTF, from a database of HRTFs; applying the rendering HRTF to the to-be-filtered audio layer to generate a filtered audio layer, such that the to-be-output audio signal comprises the filtered audio layer and is a 3D audio signal. In this way, 3D effects are only applied to specific audio layers of an audio signal, thereby efficiently rendering 3D audio without unnecessarily impacting the timbre of the audio signal.

摘要: The present technology relates to audio processing. An acquisition unit acquires metadata including position information indicative of a position of an audio object and sound image information configured from a vector of three dimensions and representative of an extent of a sound image from the position. A vector calculation unit
determines a three-dimensional vector representative of the position of the audio object, wherein a start point of the three-dimensional vector is the origin in a three-dimensional coordinate system whose origin is given by a position of a user. The vector calculation unit further calculates, based on the three-dimensional vector and a ratio between a horizontal direction angle and a vertical direction angle of a region representative of the extent of the sound image determined by the sound image information, at least one spread vector indicative of a position in the region, wherein the number of spread vectors is determined in advance. A gain calculation unit calculates, based on the at least one spread vector, a gain of each of audio signals supplied to two or more sound outputting units positioned in the proximity of the position indicated by the position information by using Vector Base Amplitude Panning.-

摘要: An audio apparatus comprises a first receiver (501) receiving audio data for sources of a scene comprising acoustic environments divided by acoustically attenuating boundaries. A second receiver (503) receives metadata comprising a position indication for a transfer region of an acoustically attenuating boundary between a first acoustic environment and a second acoustic environment with the transfer region having less acoustic attenuation than the boundary. The metadata further includes an energy transfer indication for the transfer region indicating the proportion of energy at the transfer region from an omnidirectional point audio source at a reference position. A renderer (507) renders an audio signal for a position in the first acoustic environment by rendering audio data for a source of the second acoustic environment and adapting a level of the audio depending on the energy transfer indication. The level may be adapted based on a difference between a source position and the reference position.
