摘要: A method for rendering 3D audio is provided. The method includes: obtaining a to-be-output audio signal, wherein the to-be-output audio signal comprises one or more audio layers; selecting a to-be-filtered audio layer from the one or more audio layers; selecting a rendering Head-Related Transfer Function, HRTF, from a database of HRTFs; applying the rendering HRTF to the to-be-filtered audio layer to generate a filtered audio layer, such that the to-be-output audio signal comprises the filtered audio layer and is a 3D audio signal. In this way, 3D effects are only applied to specific audio layers of an audio signal, thereby efficiently rendering 3D audio without unnecessarily impacting the timbre of the audio signal.

摘要: Improved methods and devices for processing low-frequency audio data are provided. A bass extraction process may involve applying low-pass filters to received audio object signals, to produce extracted low-frequency audio signals. The bass extraction process may be performed prior to a process of rendering audio objects into speaker feed signals. A bass management process may involve routing the extracted low-frequency audio signals to the one or more speakers capable of reproducing low-frequency audio signals.

摘要: An apparatus for mapping a first input channel and a second input channel of an input channel configuration to at least one output channel of an output channel configuration, wherein each input channel and each output channel has a direction in which an associated loudspeaker is located relative to a central listener position, wherein the apparatus is configured to map the first input channel to a first output channel of the output channel configuration. The apparatus is further configured to at least one of a) map the second input channel to the first output channel, comprising processing the second input channel by applying at least one of an equalization filter and a decorrelation filter to the second input channel, and b) despite of the fact that an angle deviation between a direction of the second input channel and a direction of the first output channel is less than an angle deviation between a direction of the second input channel and the second output channel and/or is less than an angle deviation between the direction of the second input channel and the direction of the third output channel, map the second input channel to the second and third output channels by panning between the second and third output channels.
