    摘要: A gasket singulation apparatus (20) for separating one gasket (23) from a web-connected stack (24) of gaskets (23) includes a mandrel (29) for receiving the web-connected stack (24) and an arrangement of cylinders (31) which are used to support the web-connected stack (24) of gaskets (23) and to pull one gasket (23) away from the remainder of the web-connected stack (24) so as to singulate that one gasket (23). A first plurality of cylinders are used to support the web-connected stack. A second plurality of cylinders (31) are used to pierce any connecting material between the gasket (23) to be singulated and the remainder of the stack (24). Once the web material is pierced, cylinder (31) movement is effected so as to pull the selected gasket (23) away from the stack (24), allowing any connecting material to sever and thereby singulate one gasket (23) from the stack (24). Once the gasket is singulated, various insertion mechanisms are disclosed for inserting the singulated gasket (23) into a pail lid groove.

    摘要: An airtight adapter comprises an outer-cylinder adapter body (20) airtightly fixed to the wall surface (1a) of the airtight unit, an internal adapter body (30) inserted into and fitted in the cylinder of the outer-cylinder adapter body (20) airtightly and replacably, and at least two annular sealing members (32A,32B) positioned between the outer periphery of the internal adapter body (30) and the inner periphery of the outer-cylinder adapter body (20).     摘要: A head port sealing gasket 56 is disclosed for use in a barrel compressor 40 which has a head 42 fitted within a barrel casing 44. The sealing gasket 56 has a curved outer surface 60 matching the curvature of the inner diameter of the barrel casing 44. An O-ring is fitted within an O-ring groove 62 in the outer surface to sealingly engage the inner surface of the barrel casing. The sealing gasket 56 is received within a port 68 formed into the outer cylindrical surface of the head. A chamfer 92 on the end of the casing 44 allows the head and sealing gasket mounted thereon to be slid into the proper position within the barrel casing without damage to the O-ring.

    摘要: In a tube coupling (10) a resilient sealing boot (36) is disposed between facing frusto-conical sealing surfaces (16, 28) to prevent fluid flow therebetween.
