A fluid injector made of pressure rated components that attach to a fluid flow line so that flow is transferred from the flow line, into the injection unit and back to the fluid flow line. The inlet flow is used to pressurize the storage tank and provide a solution to mix with injection solutions in the tank to provide an accurate preset or adjustable injection rate into the fluid flow line. Vent/proportioner ports provide back flow protection, prevent fluid from siphoning from the storage tank, provide an internal air release port and set injection ratios. A mixing control valve adjusts the injection ratios by mixing outgoing injection solutions with incoming fluid from the fluid flow line. Flexible bladders isolate one or more injection solutions within one storage container which are injected simultaneously at independent injection rates.

A lubricant additive dispensing apparatus comprising a base providing a manifold distribution to present lubricant to a series of dispensing chambers. The dispensing chambers are fabricated having a porous sidewall formed in a tubular shape. Additive is stored within a reservoir formed by the tubular shape. A delivery piston is provided proximate and in fluid communication with the manifold. The lubricant applies pressure to the delivery piston. The delivery piston applies pressure to the stored additive. The pressure forces a small volume of additive to pass through the porous sidewall, blending the additive with the flowing lubricant. The reservoir can be formed between an outer tubular member and an inner tubular member. Lubricant can pass through an interior of the inner tubular member, existing a flow discharge port located proximate an end cap assembled to a distal end of the reservoir.

A method and apparatus for dispersing an active ingredient, such as a £umigant, fertilizer or room freshener. The active ingredient is placed in a container (13) and a pressurised solvent/propellent is subsequently introduced from a source (11). The solvent/propellent expands to adopt a liquid phase and a gaseous phase. The liquid phase serves to absorb the active ingredient and the gaseous phase serves to propel the borne active ingredient out of the apparatus through a dispensing outlet (14) where further expansion takes place and the active ingredient is dispersed in a fog or mist. Check valves (15, 16) create a pressure differential between the sample cylinder outlet (23) and a by-pass portion (22) to enable total absorption of the active ingredient. The system is particulary suitable for the spraying of insecticides where a metered amount of active ingredient is to be dispersed or for exhausting a total supply of active ingredient.

The present invention relates to a dopant gas generating device for supplying the dopant gas to the ion mobility spectrometry instrument, comprising: a doping container; an air inlet having an inlet end connecting with an upstream side of a carrier gas passage and an outlet end connecting with the doping container; an air outlet having an entrance end connecting with the doping container and an exit end connecting with an downstream side of the carrier gas passage; a dopant gas generating unit for releasing the dopant gas, wherein the dopant gas generating unit is disposed within the doping container. Through disposing the dopant gas generating unit, which is used for releasing the dopant gas, within the doping container, the dopant gas in the present invention is applicable with not only a solid state dopant, but also a liquid dopant.
