The movement of the piston to the open position at least partially opens the at least one secondary orifice and the movement of the piston to the closed position at least partially closes the at least one secondary orifice. The movement of the armature actuates the piston movement and controls fluid flow from the primary orifice through the at least one secondary orifice.

The constructional unit further comprises a fuel unit (4) having respective tubular connecting pieces (12) for every coil (5) for receiving a respective injection valve and a distributor housing (13) that contains a fuel distributing compartment (14) on which the parallel connecting pieces (12) are arranged and that has connecting openings (15) which interconnect the distributing compartment (14) to the interior of the connecting pieces (12) so as to communicate therewith, the fuel unit (4) and the electrical unit (3) being mounted to each other in such a manner that the connecting pieces (12) are coaxially inserted in the insertion openings (10).

    摘要: The fuel injector (1) comprises a hollow body (2) housed in which is a metering valve (8) for the injection, having a calibrated pipe (12) for outlet of the fuel from a control chamber (11). The calibrated pipe (12) is normally kept closed by a shutter (13) controlled by an electromagnet (17) comprising a magnetic core (19) and an electric coil (26) housed in an annular slot (24) of the core (19). The coil (26) has an outer cylindrical surface (33), which forms with the annular slot a gap (61) so as to be lapped by the fuel coming out of the calibrated pipe (12). In particular, the coil (26) comprises a bobbin (28) having a pair of appendages (39) for supporting a pair of plugs (34) for electric supply of the coil (26), which are englobed at least in part in a block (42) of non-magnetic material. The bobbin (28) has a substantially cylindrical rib (29), and two plane and parallel flanges (31, 32), one (31) of which is adjacent to an end portion (36) of the plugs (34), whilst the other (32) has a smaller diameter so as to form a passage (63) for the fuel between the calibrated pipe (12) and the gap (61).

Molten plastic is caused to flow into this area by heating and the subsequent insertion of the valve (6) or the valve holder (30) into the receiving bore (4). After the thermally deformed plastic has cooled, a positive connection is formed between the valve housing and the receiving bore or the valve holder (30) and the receiving bore (4).
