The invention provides that said valve block (2) consists of a thermoplastic at least in the area of the receiving bore (4), and that the fixing means have at least one reduced area (46, 48, 50, 52) on the outer radial periphery of the valve housing (12c) or of a valve holder (30) which holds the valve housing (12, 12a, 12b) in the receiving bore (4). Molten plastic is caused to flow into this area by heating and the subsequent insertion of the valve (6) or the valve holder (30) into the receiving bore (4). After the thermally deformed plastic has cooled, a positive connection is formed between the valve housing and the receiving bore or the valve holder (30) and the receiving bore (4).
