The invention relates to an electrically driven linear actuator for linearly moving a mass, in which at least one elongated actuator element, which, on the output side, acts upon the mass, is mounted inside a main pipe in a manner that enables it to slide in an axial direction, and which, on the input side, is coupled to a spindle nut that, itself, rests upon a spindle, which is rotationally mounted inside the main pipe and which can be placed in rotational motion by an electric motor. The spindle nut rests upon the spindle in such a manner that it, during its axial motion caused by a rotation of the spindle, displaces each actuator element in a telescopic manner with regard to the main pipe. In order to prevent oscillations of the drive from leading to vibrations on the mass that is to be moved, the invention provides that each actuator element is formed from two pipes that are arranged concentrically while forming a tubular gap, which is of a specified thickness, and these pipes are joined in a non-positive manner by means of an elastomeric material located inside said gap. One of the two concentric pipes acts upon the mass that is to be moved and the other is coupled to the spindle nut.

Disclosed is an electromotive linear drive unit comprising a housing, a motor pot, a connection piece, a power supply cable, a deployable lifting pipe, and a fixed flanged pipe. The aim of the invention is to design said electromotive linear drive unit in such a way that it can be produced at a low cost while being easier to assemble than previously known embodiments thereof. Said aim is achieved by the fact that at least the areas joining the housing (11) to the motor pot (12) and the connection piece (13) are embodied in a cylindrical manner while said joining areas are formed by means of a rotary movement of the housing (11) and/or the motor pot (12) and/or the connection piece (13) in a radial direction, the joining areas being embodied in a non-positive manner in an axial direction. Said type of connection is obtained by means of meshing threads. The inventive linear drive unit is particularly suitable for driving the adjustable parts of a slatted frame or armchair.

Das Antriebsmoment wird über die Spindel (2) eingeleitet. Durch diese Ausbildung wird bei gleicher Motordrehzahl eine Steigerung der Beschleunigung und der Verfahrgeschwindigkeiten des Maschinenaggregates (9) erreicht.

The second end (174) of the strap (170) is coupled in a force transmitting path with the upper track (52). An intermediate portion (182) of the strap (170) between the first and second ends is formed in a predetermined contour to deform under tension toward a planar shape and is disposed bypassingly around the drive gears (148, 152).
