摘要: The following embodiments relate to a method of controlling an electronic device to implement virtual smoke in a virtual display device. An operating method of an electronic device according to an embodiment includes sensing a muscle movement based on an input signal received from the electronic device, predicting a virtual smoke implementation timepoint by analyzing a result of the sensing, and displaying a virtual image in which cigarette smoke is generated, based on the virtual smoke implementation timepoint.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for detecting onset of a spontaneous breath by a patient coupled to a ventilation system (10) includes receiving, at a processor (44), an electromyography (EMG) signal from an EMG sensor (56, 58) disposed on the patient. The method also includes pre-conditioning, via the processor (44), the EMG signal (64) to separate the EMG signal (64) into a plurality of components (86) having EMG information utilizing a set of bandpass filters. The method further includes individually analyzing, via the processor (44), each component (86) of the plurality of components (86) to detect an onset of the spontaneous breath by the patient. The method still further includes determining, via the processor (44), the onset of the spontaneous breath by the patient is occurring when at least two components (86) of the plurality of components (86) indicate the onset of the spontaneous breath by the patient.
