摘要： Topical compositions, containing tetracycline, tetracycline salts or tetracycline derivatives, which do not cause skin yellowing, are disclosed. These compositions are formulated such that, upon application to the skin, the tetracycline component recrystallizes in small, irregular crystals at the skin surface. Preferred compositions are buffered at a pH between about 2.0 and 4, such as by the addition of citric acid. The method of treating skin disorders such as acne, using these compositions is also disclosed.

摘要： Thymidine may have its solubility in water increased by as much as 10 times or even more by combining the thymidine with a solubilizing agent, such as a salicylate derivative selected from salicyclic acid, amino and methyleneamino substituted salicyclic acids and salts and esters thereof. The thymidine and solubilizing agent may be combined by grinding in the dry state. The compounds are most conveniently used in approximately equimolar quantities.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for the preparation of colour and pH stabilized aqueous parenteral pharmaceutical compositions comprising an antibacterial aminoglycoside comprising a pyranose ring being unsaturated between positions 4' and 5' and substituted with an aminoalkyl group at position 5', preferably sisomicine, netylmicine or 5-epi-sisomicine or the parenterally acceptable salts thereof. According to the process of the invention the active ingredient is dissolved in water, the pH of the solution is adjusted to 7,3 - 7,4, an antioxidant is added to the solution, nitrogen gas is bubbled through the solution after sterile filtration and the solution thus obtained is filled into ampoules.
