A raw material of the bionic cornea is pegylated collagen. The pegylated collagen comprises collagen and PEG-40k and PEG-20k which are modified on the collagen. Modifications of PEG-40k and PEG-20k can significantly improve the cross-linking performance of the collagen, so that the strength of the cornea of the present application is increased by nearly 20 times compared with the strength of the cornea prepared from collagen, and is increased by nearly 12 times compared with the strength of the cornea prepared from the existing another pegylated collagen. Therefore, the cornea of the present application has good application prospect in the field of corneal transplantation. A molar ratio of PEG-40k to PEG-20k is 2-3:1. The effect of improving the cross-linking performance of the collagen by PEG modification at this molar ratio is better, and the strength of the cornea of the present application can be further improved.
