Um zu erreichen, daß der Steinbohrer der eingangs genannten Art zum Zwecke des Andübelns von Leisten Löcher schneidet, die ein problemloses Einschlagen der Dübel in den Untergrund gestatten, weist der Bohrer (1) im Anschluß an die Hartmetall-Schneiden (4) einen, ggfs. gegenüber den Hartmetall-Schneiden (4) mit geringerem Durchmesser ausgebildeten Steinbohrteil (5) auf. Zwischen dem Steinbohrteil (5) und einem Einspannende (2) ist ein Holzschneidteil (7) vorgesehen und der Holzschneidteil (7) ist gegenüber dem Durchmesser der Hartmetall-Schneiden (4) um ca. 8 bis 24% im Durchmesser vergrößert.
