摘要: A controller 65 of a corrugated fiberboard sheet manufacturing apparatus 10 can execute a steady operation where a corrugating roll 17A rotates at a first set speed V1, a deceleration operation where the corrugating roll 17A is decelerated to a second set speed V2, and an acceleration operation where the corrugating roll 17A is accelerated to a third set speed V3. In the steady operation, the controller 65 set an on-off valve 60A to a closed state for steam supply to a hollow portion 17b at a first set pressure P1 by a pressure adjusting valve 55. In the deceleration operation, the controller 65 maintains states of the valves 60A and 55. In the acceleration operation, the controller 65 switches the on-off valve 60A to an open state, and adjusts the pressure adjusting valve 55 for steam supply to the hollow portion 17b at a second set pressure P2.

摘要: It is intended to achieve a heating device which heats the liquid starch supplimentarily without using steam and also controls a temperature of the liquid starch to the gelatinization temperature without forming water drops during the production of the corrugated cardboard sheet. Single faced corrugated cardboard sheets K 1 and K 2 and a surface liner L 3 are preheated by preheat rolls 12a to 12c and the liquid starch g is applied to flute tops of corrugated media N 1 and N 2 by a gluing unit 16. The moist air having dew-temperature near the gelatinization temperature of the liquid starch g is sprayed to the flute tops from discharge parts 41a and 41b to gelatinize the liquid starch g. Then, the single faced corrugated cardboard sheets K 1 and K 2 and the surface liner L 3 are introduced to a double facer 90 to be heated and pressed by heat plates 96 and a belt conveyor 94 and bonded and dried to manufacture a double wall corrugated cardboard sheet D. By preheating the liquid starch g with the moist air, the liquid starch can be heated accurately to the gelatinization temperature and the overheating and formation of water drops can be prevented.

摘要: A container having walls made of paper/plastic outer face liners (12), wherein at least one of the face liners (11, 12) is comprised of a face liner laminate (12). The face liner laminate (12) is composed of an exterior ply of oriented synthetic plastic film whose opposing surfaces are rendered wettable by corona-discharge treatment, and a base paper ply is cold-laminated to the film ply and adhered to the core (10) of the board. The cardboard core (10) may be a planar stiff paper core. The invention is also directed to a structural member for use in making inexpensive furniture comprising a supporting member (11) and a cardboard core (10) laminated to a face liner laminate (12). The film ply of the laminate (12) enhances the strength of the container or structural member and imparts water resistance thereto. Because the exposed surface of the film ply is printable, it may have decorative graphics or other printed matter applied thereto.
