The paper table is being given an upward force by a spring (8). This paper table moves up to the position where the topmost sheet of the paper stack on the paper table contacts with a stopper (7). This stopper moves up during the period when the suction head feeds forward the topmost sheet. At this time, an electromagnetic brake (6) is set at the on-state and fixes the position of the paper table. The suction head, stopper, electromagnetic brake and the like rotate at the predetermined timing based on the rotation of cams (27,29,31). Thus, according to this invention it is possible not only to save the cost of the device but also to operate the device at high speed.

The paper bundle receiving portions (33, 34) are provided with sorting mechanisms (40, 60) for sorting the delivered paper bundles. The delivery path includes a main delivery path portion (23) extended from the paper bundle feeding port (31) to a branch point (32), and a plurality of branch delivery path portions (24, 25) extended from the branch point (32) to the related paper bundle receiving portions (33, 34) respectively. The branch point (32) is provided with a switching gate plate (26) for operating to selectively connect the main delivery path portion (23) to the branch delivery path portions (24, 25) respectively.

Die Zuführung der Kuvertierpartner erfolgt ohne Transportdeck und Zwischenstopp von den programmierbaren Mehrfachabzugseinrichtungen (1,11) zur in der Kuvertiereinrichtung (2) integrierten Falteinrichtung. Als Verbindungselemente zwischen den Mehrfachabzugseinrichtungen (1,11) für Füllgut (9) und Einlegehüllen (10) und der Kuvertiereinrichtung (2) dienen für beide Systeme angetriebene gemeinsame Walzenanordnungen (4,4a). Die gemeinsame Walzenanordnung (4,4a) gestattet die Verbindung von Einrichtungen zum kuvertieren von Poststücken, bei gleichzeitiger Minimierung des Bauraumes und Erhöhung der Zuverlässigkeit.
