摘要： The invention relates to a fuel pump unit (10) for a fuel dispensing unit (1). The fuel pump unit (10) comprises a pump (6) with a suction side (S) and a pressure side (P) for pumping fuel along a fuel flow path between an underground reservoir and a nozzle (7) of the fuel dispensing unit (1), at least one ultrasonic transmitter (11) arranged at the suction side (S) of the pump (6) and adapted to send out an ultrasonic signal in the fuel flow path, and at least one ultrasonic receiver (12) arranged at the suction side (S) of the pump (6) and adapted to receive the ultrasonic signal. The invention also relates to a fuel dispensing unit (1) for refuelling a vehicle and a method for handling a fuel pump unit (10) for a fuel dispensing unit (1).

摘要： A method for monitoring vapor-to-liquid flow rate in a fuel dispensing system with a vacuum assisted vapor recovery system having a coaxial hose with an outer fuel conduit (94) for delivery of fuel and an inner vapor conduit (90) for recovery of vapor includes the steps of: determining vapor flow rate in the inner vapor conduit; issuing a signal indicative of the vapor flow rate; determining liquid fuel flow rate in the outer conduit; issuing a signal indicative of the liquid fuel flow rate; comparing the signal indicative of the vapor flow rate and the signal indicative of the liquid fuel flow rate; and, when vapor-to-liquid flow rate is outside a predetermined range, issuing a signal. A vacuum assist vapor recovery system, and a fuel dispensing system equipped with such a vapor recovery system are also described.

摘要： A flow switch used in conjunction with a fuel meter in a fuel dispenser to determine when fuel is flowing. A flow switch can only be activated if fuel is flowing through the flow path of the flow switch. If fuel is flowing as indicated by the fuel flow switch, but the meter is not registering fuel flow, there is a meter error, which may be an error internally with components of the meter and/or a pulser that generates pulse signals indicative of fuel flow. If the meter pulser is registering fuel flow, but the flow switch is not registering fuel flow, then an error exists with the flow switch. If fuel is flowing and there are no errors, both the meter and the flow switch should indicate fuel flow.
