    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of producing ammonia in an analogous pressure level ammonia synthesis loop. The method may comprise synthesizing a hydrocarbon gas or liquid feed to provide syngas; operating, in once through fashion, a first ammonia synthesis section at a first pressure level to process and synthesize the syngas and or a makeup gas into ammonia; recovering at least a first portion of ammonia from the first ammonia synthesis section; combining unconverted syngas from the first ammonia synthesis section with a recycle stream of a second ammonia synthesis section, wherein the second synthesis section operates at a second pressure level in a recirculating fashion, and the first pressure level and the second pressure level are the same, or analogous; and recovering at least a second portion of ammonia from the second synthesis section.

    Abstract: This apparatus 2 for producing an organic hydride is provided with: a cathode chamber 18 which contains a cathode electrode 14 for generating an organic hydride by hydrogenating an object to be hydrogenated in a cathode solution by means of protons; a cathode inlet 30 which is connected to the cathode chamber 18 in order to supply the cathode solution into the cathode chamber 18 from the outside; an upper cathode outlet 32 which is connected to the cathode chamber 18 in order to discharge the cathode solution and a hydrogen gas to the outside from the cathode chamber 18; and a lower cathode outlet 34 which is connected to the cathode chamber 18 at a lower position than the upper cathode outlet 32 in order to discharge the cathode solution and water to the outside from the cathode chamber 18.
