    摘要: Alkylisothiocyansäureester der Formel R-N=C=S lassen sich durch Umsetzung von N-Alkyldithiocarbaminaten mit Wasserstoffperoxid in wäßiger Phase bei 95 bis 130 o C herstellen. Erfindungsgemäß bringt man die wäßrige N-Alkyldithiocarbaminatlösung mit einer 20 bis 40 gew.-%igen wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung im Volumenverhältnis von 1 zu 0,8 bis 1 unter Einhaltung eines pH-Wertes von 1,5 bis 4,5 zur Reaktion. Vorzugsweise werden die Lösungen in einen Reaktor versprüht, wobei das gebildete Alkylisothiocyanat dampfförmig abdestilliert und sich die Nebenprodukte enthaltende wäßrige Phase im Reaktor sammelt.
    Durch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren konnte die Raum-Zeit-Ausbeute signifikant erhöht werden, weil gegenüber dem vorbekannten Verfahren, das bei pH 5 bis 9 erfolgt, viel weniger Schwefel gebildet und damit die Stillstandszeiten für die Reinigung des Reaktors minimiert werden konnten.
