The present invention relates to a procedure for the production of myrtanal from ²-pinene epoxide, comprising as a minimum putting said epoxide in contact with a crystalline microporous catalyst having pores of diameter of at least 0.52 nm and having an empirical formula in dehydrated calcined form of H w (M w Ti x Sn y Zr z Si 1-w-x-and-z )O 2 , where M is at least one metal of valency +3 selected from among Al, B, Ga, Fe, Cr, and combinations thereof; w is a molar fraction of M having a value between 0 and 2(x+y+z); x is a molar fraction of titanium having a value between 0 and 0.06; y is a molar fraction of tin having a value between 0 and 0.06; z is a molar fraction of zirconium having a value between 0 and 0.064, and wherein at least one of the three values "x", "y" or "z" differs from zero. In the present invention it is preferable for the crystalline microporous catalyst to have pores of at least 0.52 nm and a crystalline structure having an x-ray diffractogram corresponding to a beta zeolite.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Aldehyden durch Hydroformylierung von olefinisch ungesättigten Verbindungen mit Wasserstoff und Kohlenmonoxid in homogener Phase in Gegenwart eines metallorganische Komplexverbindungen sowie Liganden dieser Komplexverbindungen im molaren Überschuß enthaltenden Katalysatorsystems und Abtrennung des Katalysatorsystems von der Reaktionsmischung der Hydroformylierung durch Druckfiltration an einer semipermeablen Membran aus einem aromatischen Polyamid. Dieses Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Molmassenverhältnis der im Überschuß vorliegenden Liganden zu den hergestellten Aldehyden 9 - 30, bevorzugt 10 - 25, insbesondere 10 - 15, beträgt, wobei die im Überschuß vorliegenden Liganden keine Alkyl- oder Arylammoniumsalze sulfonierter, carboxylierter oder phosphonierter aromatischer Diphosphine darstellen. Durch Einhaltung des Molmassenverhältnisses werden sowohl in der Hydroformylierung selber hohe Aktivierungs- und Selektivitätswerte erhalten, als auch im Membranfiltrationsschritt ausgezeichnete Rückhaltewerte für das Katalysatorsystem.
