摘要:
The Invention relates to a method for the preservation of natural rubber latex comprising the step of adding to natural latex at least one hydrophobically modified saccharide. The hydrophobically modified saccharide is prefererably a hydrophobically modified fructan, a hydrophobically modified starch hydrolysate, or a mixture thereof. The invention further relates to a natural rubber latex containing a hydrophobically modified saccharide, and to vulcanised natural rubber products containing a hydrophobically modified saccharide.
摘要:
The present invention relates to the industrial sector of extracting and processing natural rubber, and other components, from plant material. In particular, the invention relates to a process for extracting latex, resin and rubber from guayule and/or guayule-type plants, which comprises harvest, preservation, mechanical and chemical treatment of the plant parts, which is applicable both in the laboratory and on an industrial scale and is characterised by significantly high yields and high quality of the extracted products.
摘要:
A method for the preservation of natural rubber latex is disclosed which comprises adding to natural rubber latex at least one hydrophobically modified saccharide in combination with at least one conventional preservative, preferably ammonia. The method enables increasing the stability of natural rubber latex by an economically interesting method which does not negatively affect neither subsequent conventional processing of the latex, nor the properties of shaped rubber articles manufactured from the stabilized latex. Furthermore, preserved rubber latex is disclosed that is stabilized by the method of the invention. Also preserved non-concentrated as well as concentrated rubber latex is disclosed comprising at least one said hydrophobically modified saccharide in combination with at least one conventional preservative, preferably ammonia.

A means for stabilizing a deproteinized natural rubber latex is disclosed, comprising adding a stabilizer selected from the group consisting of (a) an anionic surfactant, (b) an amphoteric surfactant, (c) a nonionic surfactant, (d) a nonionic or amphoteric oligomer or polymer, and (e) an anionic oligomer or polymer. By adding the stabilizer, the mechanical stability of a deproteinized natural rubber latex can be markedly improved.

The present disclosure provides for a process for manufacturing of dipped latex products without using any animal derived ingredients and dipped latex products produced by said process. The disclosed process successfully over comes drawbacks of drop in product yield (due to coagulum formation) and burst pressures caused by absence-of casein in latex formulation. Therefore, the dipped latex products so produced through the process have final composition similar to that of any other dipped latex products with casein except for absence of casein and having 0.8 phr of Sulphur as against 0.6 phr of Sulphur in routine manufacturing. The products also exhibit physical properties similar to that of any other dipped latex products with casein, such as burst pressure and burst volume.
