    摘要: The invention relates to a poly(aryl ether sulfone) (PAES) copolymer (P2) with bound functional moieties Z, a chromatography polymeric stationary material comprising (P2), use of the stationary material for chromatography applications, and methods for making the material. Also disclosed are methods of making (P2) from an aminated side-chain PAES copolymer (P1), including coupling a functional compound Z* to nitrogen atoms of aminated groups of (P1) to provide the functional moieties Z in (P2). The functional moiety Z may include at least one selected from a tri- C2+ alkyl or tri-methyl moiety which forms a quaternary ammonium structure with the nitrogen atoms, an alkyl carbonyl moiety, a carboxylic acid moiety, an aromatic sulfonate moiety, a sugar acid moiety, a zwitterionic moiety, a haloalkyl carbonyl moiety, a hydroxyl moiety; or a multifunctional moiety comprising two or more complementary functional moieties.
