Abstract:
The invention relates to thermoplastic moulding materials comprising A) 10-99 % by weight polyethylene terephthalate, B) 0.01 to 50 % by weight B1) at least one type of high-or hyper-branched polycarbonate, whose OH index ranges from 1 to 600 mg KOH/g (according to DIN 53240, part 2) or B2) at least one type of high- or hyper-branched AxBy-type polyester, wherein x is at least of 1.1 and y is at least of 2.1 or the mixture thereof, C) 0-to 60 % by weight other additives, wherein the sum of percentages of the components from A to C) is equal to 100 %. The use of said thermoplastic moulding materials for producing fibres and liquid containers are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for coating a transparent molded article, characterized by a) arranging and securing the molded article in a die, the plastic film being applied between the wall of the die and the molded article, b) evacuating the air from the chamber between the plastic film and the molded article, c) heating the plastic film, d) using ambient air to relieve a second chamber between the plastic film and the wall of the die to atmospheric pressure, and e) thereby pressing the plastic film onto the molded article and while maintaining a vacuum during this pressing step. The invention also relates to coated molded articles, to facade, privacy protection and paneling elements that are for the first time obtainable by this method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for coating both sides of a molded piece made of rigid foamed material with a plastic film, characterized in that a) the molded piece is disposed and fixed in a capsule between films at a distance ratio, b) the air is evacuated from the capsule, and c) the films are thus pressed against opposite surfaces of the molded piece, while a vacuum is maintained between the films.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for method for coating both sides of a molded article from a wood-derived or gypsum-derived material with a plastic film, characterized by a) arranging at a distance and securing the molded article in a die between the plastic films to be applied, thereby forming three chambers A, B and C, chamber A between the two plastic films, the molded article being positioned in the middle between the two films, and two chambers (B and C) between the plastic film and the wall of the die, b) evacuating the air from chambers A, B and C, c) heating the films, d) using ambient air to relieve chambers B and C to atmospheric pressure, and e) thereby pressing the films onto opposite surfaces of the molded article and while maintaining a vacuum between the films.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel and improved polyamides formed from meta-xylylenediamine and adipic acid with an amino end group content of less than 15 mmol/kg. Also found have been processes for preparing these polyamides from meta-xylylenediamine and adipic acid with an amino end group content of less than 15 mmol/kg, which is characterized in that salt solutions of adipic acid and m-xylylenediamine are reacted at temperatures of 80 to 300°C and a pressure of 1 to 20 bar with removal of water.
