Abstract:
A water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to the present invention includes a (meth)acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing monomer ingredient(s) including as a main component at least one (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester in which the alkyl group has 1-18 carbon atoms, a rubber ingredient which is incompatible with the (meth)acrylic polymer and which has a degree of swelling of 130% or higher upon immersion for 2 hours in a mineral-oil-based rust preventive oil having a kinetic viscosity at 40°C of 5 mm 2 /s, and a tackifier, and a blending ratio by weight of the (meth)acrylic polymer to the rubber ingredient is from 95/5 to 5/95.
Abstract:
A nonwoven fabric of chemically bonded non-cellulose fibers including a random arrangement of non-cellulose fibers and an essentially formaldehyde free latex binder capable of developing maximum tensile properties at temperatures less than the melt bonding temperature of the non-cellulose fibers.
Abstract:
A rubber reinforcement adhesive comprising water and the reaction product of phloroglucinol and tris(hydroxymethyl)nitromethane is disclosed. Also, a reinforced rubber composition is disclosed comprising a polymer reinforcement cord contacting a rubber composition, the polymer reinforcement cord comprising an adhesive treatment dispersed on the surface thereof, wherein the adhesive treatment is a rubber reinforcement adhesive comprising water and the reaction product of phloroglucinol and tris(hydroxymethyl)nitromethane. The reinforced rubber composition may be used in a pneumatic tire.
