    摘要: The invention relates to a tanning process which comprises the following step: (a) an oxidative liming in base environment of a hide. The oxidative liming comprises a treatment of the hide with lime. The oxidative liming, i.e. step (a), comprises the following steps wherein the percentages are to be understood as percentages by weight with respect to the weight of the hide: (a1) immunizing the hair of said hide with 0.8 to 1.2%, preferably with about 1% of hydrated lime; (a2) thereafter, adding an unhairing solution of peroxide in a percentage of between 2 and 3% of hydrogen peroxide, at a pH of between 12.0 and 12.5, wherein the pH is preferably adjusted by alkalizing the mixture with caustic soda (NaOH); and (a3) thereafter, neutralizing the bath. The process allows recovering all the components of the liming, in particular also the protein part in the liming bath. The hide obtained with the liming is sulfide-free. The invention also relates to a complete tanning process, from brining up to dressing, which complies with the ISO 15987 standard.

    摘要: The invention relates to a degreasing agent for treating skins, fur, limed skins and other intermediate products in leather and fur production, and for treating wool or related protein substances, based on non-ionic surfactants of the alcohol alcoxylate type. Alcohol alcoxylates are used which are obtained by reaction with at least one alcohol ROH with n mols of at least one alkylene oxide per mol of alcohol ROH, wherein R represents an alkyl radical containing between 5 and 30 carbon atoms, and having a main chain which contains between 4 and 29 carbon atoms and is branched in the centre thereof with at least one C1 - C10 alkyl radical; the alkylene oxide comprises between 2 and 6 carbon atoms; and n represents a whole number between 1 and 100. The invention also relates to a method for degreasing skins, fur, limed skins and other intermediate products in leather and fur production, and for treating wool or related protein substances, a degreasing agent according to the present invention being used. The invention further relates to the use of said degreasing agent.

    摘要: The present invention refers to a new process meant to chrome and/or vegetable leather tanning.
    The process proposed by the invention comprises the steps of bating, conditioning and chrome and/or vegetable tannage. The conditioning uses hydroxy-butaldehyde which reacts blocking the amines of the collagen and releasing carboxyls. This reaction reduces the isoelectric point to 4.0 - 4.5 making the hide susceptive to the effective chrome tannage, linking the carboxyls, or to tannin, linking through hydrogen bridges.
    Hydroxy-butaldehyde is used in the conditioning, in a proportion of 2.5 - 3.0 % over the weight of the delimed hide, in a concentration of 40 ± 2 %, and with a pH of 4.2 - 4.4, the reaction time being from 3 to 4 hours.
