Selon ce procédé, on imbibe lesdits articles avec un premier solvant comprenant/constitué d'un mélange d'alcanes exempts d'halogène puis en ce que l'on vaporise éventuellement sur lesdits articles imbibés un additif comprenant ou constitué d'un mélange d'hydrocarbures aliphatiques exempts d'halogène et/ou d'au moins un tensio-actif non ionique et/ou cationique et ayant une température d'ébullition supérieure à celle dudit solvant, on exerce une action mécanique sur lesdits articles, notamment on brasse lesdits articles, on essore ensuite lesdits articles, on distille le mélange liquide issu de l'essorage de manière à séparer ledit premier solvant ou au moins ledit mélange d'alcanes exempts d'halogènes qu'il contient et éventuellement on réutilise le distillat pour dégraisser des articles textiles.

    摘要: The invention discloses a novel method for dry cleaning of a fabric material characterized by the use of a unique dry cleaning solvent which is a tris(trimethylsiloxy) silane compound represented by the general formula of RSi(-O-SiMe 3 ) 3 , in which Me is a methyl group and R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or, preferably, a methyl group, or a mixture thereof with a petroleum-based hydrocarbon solvent in a limited proportion. In addition to the excellent effect of dry cleaning equivalent to that of conventional dry cleaning solvents and little unpleasant smell remaining on the fabric material, the solvent used in the inventive method is little liable for the problems of environmental pollution against public and workers' health and the problem of ozone layer destruction in the aerosphere due to emission of vapors of halogenated hydrocarbon solvents can be solved by the inventive method.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for separating water from solvent during dry cleaning. Included is an inlet (52) capable of receiving a mixture of dry cleaning fluid and water from a basket of a dry cleaning apparatus. The dry cleaning fluid includes a siloxane composition. Also provided is a flow controller (60) for urging flow of the mixture received from the outlet. Coupled to the flow controller (60) is a coalescent media (64) that receives the mixture urged by the flow controller (60). A chamber (68) is coupled to the coalescent media (64) for receiving the mixture from the coalescent media (64) to separate the water and the dry cleaning fluid. Also coupled to the chamber (68) is an outlet (69) to remove the dry cleaning fluid from the chamber (68) in the absence of water.
