    Abstract: The present invention relates to a prefabricated deck unit for a building system, the deck unit including: a reinforcing framework encased in a composite material, the reinforcing framework comprising: a first metal mesh unit, a plurality of interspaced spheroidal void formers attached to or in intimate contact with the first mesh unit, and a second mesh unit resting upon, or attached to, the spheroidal void formers, wherein the framework defines at least one terminal channel on at least one end of the deck unit, the terminal channel being shaped and dimensioned to snugly receive an elongate connecting rod for connecting the deck unit to a further structural element of the building system.

    Abstract: The disclosed invention consists of a low noise engineered wood building element (1) with a length (L) a width (B) and a panel thickness (P), consisting of at least one solid wooden layer (10) or a wood laminate with a given number n ≥ 2 of wood layer (10), showing improved noise control performance. This is reached through a plurality of single troughs (ABH) in form of trough-shaped indentations, recessed in the top surface (100), distributed over the top surface (100) of the panel (1), reaching within the panel thickness (P), with a maximum depth of 90% of the panel thickness (P), each trough (ABH) has a circular, elliptical or rectangular diameter between 0.5m and 3m with necessarily defined spherical, ellipsoid or cuboid shaped profile, wherein the troughs (ABH) are filled between 50% and 100% of their profile with damping bulk material (2).

    Abstract: Die Erfindung schlägt ein Wand-, Decken oder Dachelement vor, dass als hybrides Fertigteil (1) ausgeführt ist. Das Element besteht aus mindestens einer Schale aus Betonwerkstoff (2, 3) an der eines oder mehrere, Holz enthaltende Holzelemente (4) angeordnet sind. Die Verbindung erfolgt mithilfe von Knaggen (5), die einerseits mit dem Holzelement (4) verklebt sind und andererseits an die Schale (2, 3) anschließen, wobei die Knaggen (5) aus einem mineralischen Material bestehen.
