    摘要: A safety coupling, which during overload decouples from a drive position into a free wheel when a settable overload torque is exceeded, comprising a driving flange (12) which can be rotated about a rotational axis and a driven coupling part (13) which can be rotated about the same rotational axis, wherein on a hole circle the flange has recesses (14) and the coupling part, in addition to a housing (19), has holding devices which in the drive position press detent balls (17) into the recesses under the spring force and which cause a rotationally fixed connection between the flange and the coupling part and cause the release of the rotationally fixed connection so as to decouple into the free wheel when the overload torque is exceeded, wherein each detent ball is associated with a single holding device and the detent ball is moved from the drive position against the spring force out of the recess into the free wheel and arranged on a ram, which is guided alongside a housing of the holding device and comprises a spring (18) generating the spring force, characterized in that the ram (16) moves a hydraulic piston, which separates two cylinder spaces from each other, from the idle position of the piston corresponding to the drive position into a holding position corresponding to the free wheel, displacing hydraulic fluid from the one cylinder space via at least one connection comprising at least one check valve opening toward said cylinder space (and closing toward the other cylinder space) into the other cylinder space.

    摘要: A torque limiting assembly is disclosed comprising: an input shaft 2; an output shaft 3; and spring 10 having a first end coupled to the input shaft 2 and a second end coupled with the output shaft 3. In a low torque mode, when the input shaft 2 is rotated the spring 10 is compressed by a low amount and transmits a force to drive rotation of the output shaft 3, whereas in a high torque mode the spring 10 is compressed by a high amount such that the input shaft 2 rotates relative to the output shaft 3. This relative rotation moves or urges an engagement member 8 so as to either: disconnect the input shaft 2 from the output shaft 3; or engage a housing to prevent or inhibit rotation of the input shaft relative to the housing.
