    摘要: Tube connection assembly (1) comprising a connection device (2) and a tubular member (20), wherein the connection device (2) comprises a bushing (3) and a connector (6). The connector (6) comprises, in turn, a tubular shaped shaft (11) adapted to be inserted into an end portion (21) of the tubular member (20). In a non-assembled configuration of the connection assembly (1), the shaft (11) has an outer diameter (C ext1 ) smaller than or substantially equal to an inner diameter (T int ) of the end portion (21) of the tubular member (20). In an assembled configuration of the connection assembly (1), the shaft (11) is expanded, at the end portion (21) of the tubular member (20), so that the end portion (21) is compressed between an inner surface (5) of the bushing (3) and an outer surface (12) of the shaft (11).

    摘要: An integral hose anti-collapse rib comprises a unitary body having a first cantilevered portion curved in a first direction. This first cantilevered portion defines a first end. A second cantilevered portion is curved in a direction opposite the direction of the first cantilevered portion, in a direction facing the first cantilevered portion. The second cantilevered portion also defines a second end disposed at an opposite extent of the rib from the first end. The hose anti-collapse rib also comprises a locking mechanism that locks the first end of the rib to the second end of the rib, such that the first and second cantilevered portions together form a generally circular shape. Embodiments of locking mechanisms may include a button and orifice locking mechanism and/or a tab and channel locking mechanism. In a relaxed state in which the locking mechanism is not engaged, the rib preferably defines a non-circular, generally spiral shape.

    摘要: A composite pipe assembly comprises a pipe (4), a housing (6) comprising a tubular portion (8), said tubular portion being disposed around the outside of the pipe (4), and a tubular forge member (10) having an outer surface. The forge member is disposed within the housing whereby a portion of the pipe wall (5) is disposed between the inner surface of the tubular portion of the housing and the outer surface of said forge member. The forge member is deformed radially outwards against the pipe and the housing, and the tubular portion of the housing is thereby deformed radially outwards. As a result, the tubular portion of the housing applies a compressive force radially inwards against the pipe wall and the forge member applies a force radially outwards against the pipe wall which serves to secure the housing to the pipe and provide a seal between the pipe and the inner surface of the tubular portion of the housing.

The expansion device (18) is insertable into the connector (4) and is adapted for at least partially introducing a pressing force onto the connector (4) such that the first mating surface (6) is pressed onto the second mating surface (10) at least partially. Thereby, a sealing connection is created between the connector (4) and the fluid port (8).
