wherein light from at least one light source (50) can be radiated in front of the illumination device (10) via the light radiation body (200), wherein the illumination device (10) comprises a bundling device (300) configured to bundle and direct the light, which is coupled out from the light output section (120) of the at least one light guide (100), onto the free surface (220) of the light radiation body (200), so that light which is coupled out of the light output section (120) of the at least one light guide (100) and would not reach the free surface (220) due to a smaller width (W) of the free surface (220) compared to a diameter (D) of the light output section (120) of the at least one light guide (100), is deflected onto the free surface (220).-

Abstract: The present invention pertains to an indicating and/or lighting device 100 for a motor vehicle. The device 100 comprises a lighting module 102 having a main light source 104 and emitting a main light beam in a main direction. The device 100 comprises a front light guide 106 that is a flat light guide comprising two main surfaces 120 separated by edges 122. The front light guide 106 and its main surfaces 120 being arranged in front of the lighting module 102 and transversally to the main direction. At least one of the said main surfaces 120 comprises smooth surfaces portions 206 and irregular portions 208 covered by plurality of roughnesses with at least one pattern. Further, the device 100 comprises at least one side light guide 108 arranged at a side of the lighting module 102 including top and bottom. The side light guide 108 is arranged such that the light transmitted from the side light guide 108 is different from the light transmitted from the front light guide 106.

Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft ein Beleuchtungssystem (1) für ein Außenverkleidungsteil eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit zumindest einem Gestaltungsbereich (2), der eine zur Außenseite weisende Sichtseite und eine Rückseite mit einer rückseitigen Fläche (2b) sowie Seitenflächen (2a) aufweist, wobei der Gestaltungsbereich (2) als Lichtleitkörper ausgebildet ist und im Bereich eines Lichtfensters für eine Darstellung eines auf der Sichtseite dreidimensional erscheinendes charakteristischen Merkmals auf der rückseitigen Fläche (2b) bearbeitet ist, mit einem Gehäuseelement (4) mit einer farbigen Bodenfläche (4b) und Seitenflächen (4c), wobei zwischen rückseitiger Fläche (2b) des Gestaltungsbereichs (2) und Bodenfläche (4b) ein Luftspalt verbleibt, und dass zwischen Gestaltungsbereichs (2) und Seitenfläche (4c) des Gehäuseelements (2) ein Einbauraum verbleibt, in dem eine Lichtquelle (6) angeordnet ist, wobei das Licht in eine Seitenfläche des Gestaltungsbereichs (2) einkoppelbar ist, an der Laserstruktur (11) auskoppelbar und anschließend den Gestaltungsbereich (2) auf der Außenseite durchstrahlt, wobei die Lichtquelle (6) durch eine farbgebende Beschichtung (3) abgedeckt oder abdeckbar ist.
