摘要: Provided is a vehicle lamp which forms a travel light distribution pattern in which occurrence of a dark area between low and high beam light distributions is suppressed. A projection lens is divided into a plurality of lens areas, each of which has a different focal point position, and one second lens area is a low lens area. A low beam light source module is set such reflected light from the reflector is incident on a back surface of the second lens area, and a low beam light distribution is emitted from an area front surface. A high beam light source module is set such that emitted light from a high beam light source is directly incident on a lens back surface of the projection lens, and a high beam light distribution for each area is emitted from each of a plurality of area front surfaces.

Arranged on said support member (1) are a first and a second light source (10, 11), wherein said first light source (10) directly cooperates with said first optical surface (6) of the primary reflector (2) and where the second light source (11) directly cooperates with said second optical surface (7) of the primary reflector (2), and wherein both light sources (10, 11) directly cooperate with the optical surface (9) of the secondary reflector (3).

摘要: A vehicle lamp is configured to form a predetermined light distribution pattern (such as a high-beam light distribution pattern) in which a plurality of irradiation patterns each provided with a non-irradiation region is superimposed. The vehicle lamp prevents an area of a common non-irradiation region from decreasing even if the non-irradiation regions formed in the plurality of respective irradiation patterns are displaced from each other. As a result, glare light is prevented from occurring to an irradiation-prohibited object. In the vehicle lamp configured to form the predetermined light distribution pattern in which the plurality of irradiation patterns each provided with the non-irradiation region is superimposed, the plurality of irradiation patterns is superimposed so that the non-irradiation regions are superimposed to form the common non-irradiation region, and the non-irradiation regions formed in the plurality of respective irradiation patterns have sizes different from each other.
