摘要: The present invention presents a way to manufacture in particular high quality cutting edges of a wiping lip that are usually used in wiper blades to wipe windscreens of a car. Herein two converging knives (110,120) are used together to cut the elastomer or rubber edge (180,190) from two different sides which are opposing each other and thus during the cutting operation provide a low irregularity which is below 1 µm. High quality is achieved by lowering the temperature of the elastomer or rubber during the cutting operation.
In order to avoid a knife penetrating and breaking through the elastomer or rubber edge the knives are coupled and movable with respect to the elastomer or rubber edge in a transversal direction thereof such that a similar distributed and balanced force is exerted by the two knives on the respective side of the elastomer or rubber edge. Oscillating movements that may occur during fast cutting speeds are dampened by damping means in form of hydraulic or elastomeric of friction means.
Also a method for measuring and determining the quality of the finished elastomer or rubber edge (180,190) during a manufacturing process is provided wherein the wiping lip is pressed against a surface (525) with a certain force (555) and at the same time hot or cold gas is blown against the edge and using thermographic imaging means to determine the gas distribution that penetrates between the edge and the surface as a measure of quality.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for testing a motor vehicle seat under the influence of external loads, comprising a test frame that is may be slid along a test path, relative to which test frame the vehicle seat to be tested must be fixed, and comprising a test body for loading the vehicle seat when the movement of the test frame changes. According to the invention, the test body (3) is guided on the test frame (1) in a movable fashion such that the test body (3) may be slid along a test path along with the test frame (1) and, if the movement of the test frame (1) changes due to inertial forces acting on the test body (3), is moved relative to the vehicle seat (S).

摘要: A sensor device comprises a sensing component adapted to be connected to a monitoring system to send signals associated with deformation of a structural member. An adhesive is adapted to bond the sensing component to a surface of a structural member. A tape has at least one adhesive surface adapted to be adhered to the surface of a structural member to be monitored, with the sensing component being positioned between the tape and the surface of the structural member. The sensor device is used in combination with a monitoring system.

摘要: Systems and methods for monitoring operation of a pump, including verifying operation or actions of a pump, are disclosed. A baseline profile for one or more parameters of a pump may be established. An operating profile may then be created by recording one or more values for the same set of parameters during subsequent operation of the pump. A value for a goodness of fit measure comparing the operating profile and baseline profile can be established. If the goodness of fit measure is insufficient, an alarm may be sent or another action taken, for example the pumping system may shut down, etc. An example goodness of fit measure is an R-squared measure.
