    摘要: A radar system with transmitting circuitry to generate a frequency-modulated output that includes an up-chirp and a down-chirp. The radar system includes receiving circuitry configured to: receive radar returns from a target, calculate a first frequency difference based on the up-chirps and calculate a second frequency difference based on the down-chirps. The radar system calculates an unambiguous but coarse estimate of the Doppler frequency shift corresponding to the target radial velocity relative to the radar from the first and second frequency differences. The system also calculates a fine but ambiguous estimate of the Doppler frequency shift by using multiple chirps either from the same triangular waveform or from a separate waveform. The system calculates an unambiguous and accurate Doppler frequency shift estimate for the target by combining the unambiguous but coarse estimate of the Doppler frequency shift and the fine but ambiguous estimate of the Doppler frequency shift.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining a collision probability of at least two space objects each detected by a space surveillance sensor system, the method comprising the steps of:
    - providing of values of collision probability parameters of a first space object detected by a first space surveillance sensor system and values of collision probability parameters of a second space object detected by a second space surveillance sensor system, whereby said collision probability parameters are suitable to determine a collision probability between said first space object and said second space object,
    - providing a system behavior knowledge database, whereby the system behavior knowledge database supplies for each space surveillance sensor system a system behavior quality in relation to at least one object property of space objects;
    - ascertaining at least one object property of the detected first space object and, for the first space surveillance sensor system, determine a system behavior quality from the system behavior knowledge database using the at least one ascertained object property of the detected first space object; and/or
    - ascertaining at least one object property of the detected second space object and, for the second space surveillance sensor system, determine a system behavior quality from the system behavior knowledge database using the at least one ascertained object property of the detected second space object;
    - determining at least one collision probability of the first space object and the second space object depending on the provided values of collision probability parameters of the first space object, the provided values of collision probability parameters of the second space object and the determined system behavior quality for the corresponding space surveillance sensor system.

    摘要: A system and method (800) for cooperative aerial vehicle collision avoidance provides an ESA-based sensor network capable of high-resolution threat proximity measurements and cooperative and non-cooperative collision avoidance in the full spherical volume surrounding an aerial vehicle. The system incorporates a plurality of ESA panels onto the airframe where the conical scan volumes overlap leaving no gaps in spherical proximity coverage. The resulting received data is stitched together between the neighboring ESA panels and used to determine a position and vector for each threat aerial vehicle within range. The data is transmitted through a cooperative collision avoidance network to nearby aerial vehicles, and presented to the autopilot and flight crew to increase situational awareness. The system determines a maneuver for the aerial vehicle and a maneuver for the threat aerial vehicle based on relative maneuvering capabilities to maintain desired separation.

    摘要: In some examples, a system includes at least two antennas configured to receive signals encoding first, second, and third messages in first, second, and third frequency bands. The system also includes a set of splitters configured to generate separate signals in the first, second, and third frequency bands. The system further includes a set of combiners, wherein each combiner of the set of combiners is configured to combine two or more of the separate signals. The system includes a set of mixers configured to down-convert the combined signals and at least one analog-to-digital converter configured to sample the down-converted signals. The system also includes processing circuitry configured to determine data in the first, second, and third messages based on an output of the at least one analog-to-digital converter.
