The positive electrode current collector of one unit cell, the negative electrode current collector of another unit cell, and the seal material function as an exterior body surrounding a surrounded part. At least one of the positive electrode current collector of one unit cell and the negative electrode current collector of the other unit cell has a metal layer. At least the negative electrode current collector of one unit cell and the positive electrode current collector of the other unit cell have resin layers.

By means of such battery cells (10, 20, 30, 40), the number of the battery cells (10, 20, 30, 40) can be reduced in the battery (100, 200, 300, 400, 500), thereby reducing the number of connectors for connecting the battery cells (10, 20, 30, 40), and fully utilizing the structure space.

摘要: Some embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of electronic devices, and in particular, disclose a battery cell housing, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device. The battery cell housing defines an accommodating cavity configured to accommodate an electrode assembly, and the battery cell housing includes a first housing and a second housing. The first housing is configured to be electrically connected to a first tab of the electrode assembly. The second housing is fixed to the first housing in an insulated manner, the second housing is configured to be electrically connected to a second tab of the electrode assembly, and the second tab is different from the first tab in polarity. The first housing includes a bulge configured to be electrically connected to the first tab, and the bulge is configured to extend in a direction approaching the second housing. The first housing is electrically connected to the first tab, and the second housing is electrically connected to the second tab. Therefore, there is no need to provide a hole in the battery cell housing, thereby rendering the battery cell housing more integral. Further, the bulge is configured to extend in a direction approaching the second housing, thereby facilitating an electrical connection between the battery cell and an external circuit.

To help prevent lithium clusters from bridging to the terminal pin extending below the casing lid and connected to the cathode current collector tab, an elastomeric gasket directly contacts the inner surface of the lid. The elastomeric gasket is preferably a unitary member comprising an O-ring gasket portion that contacts the sealing glass of the glass-to-metal seal (GTMS), and a sheetshaped gasket portion connected to the O-ring gasket portion and that contacts the inner surface of the lid. The GTMS does not have a ferrule. Instead, the sealing glass seals directly to the lid and to the terminal pin. The elastomeric gasket resides between the lid and an insulator compartment, which is described in co-assigned U.S. Patent No. 10,629,862 to Roy et al.

The battery includes a case, at least one row of battery cells, and a support member, where an accommodation space is formed inside the case; the at least one row of battery cells is arranged in the accommodation space, and each row of battery cells includes at least two battery cells arranged opposite each other in a first direction; and the support member extends in the first direction, and two ends of the support member are fixed to the case. The support member is arranged in the case, and an extending direction of the support member is the same as that of one row of battery cells, such that interference between the support member and the battery cell can be avoided. The two ends of the support member are fixed to the case, and structural stiffness and structural strength of the case can be improved by means of a supporting effect of the support member without reducing an energy density of the battery, thereby improving an anti-collision capability of the case, and reducing a risk of displacement or damage of the battery cell due to collision of the battery.
