摘要： A flexible circuit which may be a strap or a board or the like has a plurality of conductors exposed on one surface in a predetermined array and a heater disposed on the opposed surface so as to heat the exposed conductors. The exposed conductors may have solder or the heat activated conductive bonding material applied thereto so that the flexible circuit may be directly connected to a component, a printed circuit board, a connector or the like. If a reusable bonding material, such as solder, is employed the heater may be utilized to both connect and disconnect the flexible circuit.

摘要： An electrical connection to a flat metal conductor (35) in which a terminal tab (12) pierces completely through a conductor (35) from a first side to a second side and a bifurcated portion (15) integrally joined to the tab (12) extends past the conductor (35) with a pair of tines (16) curled back on themselves penetrating the second side of the conductor (35) and straddling the tab (12) which lies in a plane parallel to the axis of curl. The terminal (11) is stamped and formed in one-piece and the tab (12) and the bifurcated portion (15) extend in parallel planes in the same direction axially of a socket and are joined by a transverse bridging portion (14).

摘要： © A corrosion resistance electrical interconnect system has a flexible circuit with buried conductor patterns in an insulative film coating which is juxtaposed to a feed-through connector having inlet/outlet electrical contact pins therethrough. Sharp ends are present on the pins which pierce the insulative film and permit spot welding of the pin tips to portions of the conductor patterns. Other portions of the conductor patterns extend exteriorly of the flexible circuit and are electrically connected on to bond pads of an integrated circuit chip such as a sensor chip utilized in a mass flow meter.

摘要： A connection zone location and selection device is provided for application to first and second flat multiconductor cables secured to one another in overlapped relation. In such arrangement, the secured cables define a matrix of connection zones each having in registry therewith a distinct pair of conductors of the cables.
