wobei die Steuervorrichtung (15) ausgestaltet ist, nach einer festlegbaren Zeitspanne eine Differenz zwischen den Spannungswerten am ersten und am zweiten Anschluss (6, 8) zu ermitteln und einen oder beide der Halbleiterschalter (11, 12, 31, 32) einzuschalten, wenn der Betrag der Differenz unter einem Schwellwert liegt.-

摘要: A ballast protecting device is connected between an AC input voltage and a ballasted High Intensity Discharge lamp. The device includes a voltage sensing block, a current sensing block, a pulse forming block, a switch block and a micro-controller unit (MCU). The pulse forming block converts positive half cycles of the voltage and current provided by the voltage and current sensing blocks to square wave pulses, and the MCU performs a phase angle comparison between generated pulses. Upon lamp malfunction, ballast current is phase shifted. Current may also be phase shifted when there is a radical change in the input voltage. As a trend of the phase shift between current and voltage is determined by the MCU, a ballast disconnect decision is made, and the MCU actuates the switch block to disconnect the connected ballast and malfunctioning lamp.

摘要: The invention relates to an undervoltage release which comprises an electromagnet (EM) for releasing a switching device and a driver circuit that supplies the current for a winding of the electromagnet and serves for producing a clocked holding current for the electromagnet. The aim of the invention is to provide an operating delay which is as short as possible. An electronic switch (ES1) is introduced into the self-holding current of the electromagnet. The self-holding current is realised by means of a freewheeling diode (D1). Said switch can be controlled according to the output signal of an undervoltage detector (OV3, OV4) which is arranged within the driver circuit.
