Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur einstellbaren Beeinflussung eines Fluids beim Übertritt aus einem Düsenaustritt (4), in die eine erste Fluidleitung (8) in einer Achsrichtung (9) und eine zweite Fluidleitung (10) in einer Zylinderwand der Drallkammer (6) eintreten. Eine erste Fluidströmung (12) strömt in axialer Richtung zu dem Düsenaustritt (4) hin und eine zweite Fluidströmung (14) tritt in die Drallkammer (6) ein. Die Vereinigung beider Fluidströmungen (12, 14) in der Drallkammer (6) bewirkt unterschiedliche Strahlgeometrien, die zwischen einem linearen Vollstrahl (32) und einem kegelförmigen Spray (30) variieren. Nach der Erfindung weist die erste Fluidleitung (8) ein Ventil (20, 22, 24) zur Einstellung des Volumenstroms auf. Die Querschnitte der ersten Fluidleitung (8) und der Drallkammer (6) stimmen überein und sind entlang der Achsrichtung (9) konstant. Alternativ weisen die Querschnitte der ersten Fluidleitung (8) und der Drallkammer (6) ein Durchmesserverhältnis zwischen 1,5 und 0,5 auf. Nach einer weiteren Alternative sind die Querschnitte der ersten Fluidleitung (8) und der Drallkammer (6) über einen strömungsstetigen Eintrittsbereich (7) mit einem Neigungswinkel β, β' verbunden, bei dem die Fluidströmung (12) sich nicht von der Wand ablöst. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine Düsenanordnung mit wenigstens zwei Düsen.
