Abstract:
A fluid impingement arrangement comprising a supply manifold and at least one nozzle exit coupled to the supply manifold. The nozzle exit is arranged as a Coanda surface having a restriction and has at least one static pressure tapping that cross-connects two regions of the restriction to induce passive oscillation in a fluid jet passing through the nozzle exit.

The invention also relates to a device and a method for at least partially coating food parts, more particularly meat and fish parts, with a liquid consumable medium, wherein the device is provided with a housing with a spraying space; a belt conveyor for food parts; a spray nozzle and a collecting receptacle lying under the spray nozzle.
Abstract:
A spray nozzle assembly for a steam desuperheating or attemperator device. In one embodiment, the spray nozzle sub-assembly of the spray nozzle assembly comprises a fixed nozzle element which is integrated into a spring-loaded nozzle element, and is specifically adapted to improve water droplet fractionation at higher flow rates while further providing an effectively higher spray area through the formation of two water cones (rather than a single water cone), such water cones being sprayed into a flow of superheated steam in order to reduce the temperature of the steam. In another embodiment, the spray nozzle sub-assembly of the spray nozzle assembly comprises a nested pair of spring-loaded primary and secondary nozzle elements which are also adapted to provide an effectively higher spray area through the formation of two water cones.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A modular nozzle assembly for use with standard trigger sprayers 1, 300 has components which replace the standard nozzle cap 24, 320. A user selectable and user changeable fluidic plate or fluidic circuit member 152, 372 is configured to allow the user to configure a particular combination of components to create precise 2-D or 3-D spray pattern when spraying or dispensing a liquid product from a trigger sprayer or aerosol sprayer. A spray kit with a user configurable modular nozzle assembly and a method for configuring a trigger or aerosol sprayer for a selected spray pattern includes a reconfigurable nozzle assembly with a replacement nozzle cap 150, 346 having modular fluidic circuit insert element retaining features 170, 172 or 376 and at least one detachable modular fluidic circuit insert element 152, 372 which a user may attach to the fluidic modular element retaining nozzle cap 150, 346.
Abstract:
The sprayer according to the invention makes it possible to spray a liquid coating product along a spraying axis, and comprises a first passage (P1) for a product jet (L1), which is centred on the spraying axis, and a second passage (P2) for discharging an air jet (L2) that coaxially surrounds the first passage. The sprayer further comprises a third passage (P3) for discharging another air jet (L3) that is positioned coaxially to the inside of the first passage (P1), a nozzle (3) centred on the spraying axis (Z222), and a core (5), positioned coaxially to the inside of the nozzle such that the first passage is defined between the core and the nozzle. The sprayer further comprises a vibrator (31) that can vibrate at least the nozzle (3) or the core (5).
Abstract:
An improved spray nozzle assembly for use in a steam desuperheating device that is adapted to spray cooling water into a flow of superheated steam. The nozzle assembly is of simple construction with relatively few components, and thus requires a minimal amount of maintenance. In addition, the nozzle assembly is specifically configured to, among other things, prevent thermal shock to prescribed internal structural components thereof, to prevent “sticking” of a valve element thereof, and to create a substantially uniformly distributed spray of cooling water for spraying into a flow of superheated steam in order to reduce the temperature of the steam.
Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to provide a method for applying powder with a powder spray gun and a powder spray gun, in order to achieve a uniform distribution of the powder in the airflow at low flow speed of the powder-air mixture. A uniform powder coating with a high penetration capability even into recesses in the workpiece to be treated shall be rendered possible thereby. Finally, a high degree of separation of the powder shall be achieved. The strand delivery of a powder-air mixture (16) is homogenised in a mixing chamber (4) inside a nozzle body (1) and converted into an airborne delivery. A nozzle cone (5) and distributer cone (13) lead to a further expansion of the powder-air mixture (16). Jet-shaping arrangements (19) on a displaceable sleeve (18) shape the powder-air mixture (16) following exit from the nozzle limiting edge (6). Displacement of the sleeve (18) allows an infinitely variable adjustment of the shape of the powder-air mixture (16), e.g. between a round jet and a flat jet. Conveying air (17), which is supplied via an annular nozzle (7), increases the projection range of the powder-air mixture (16).
