Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Lokomotivrahmen für ein Schienenfahrzeug, insbesondere eine Mittelführerhauslokomotive, umfassend eine insbesondere wenigstens abschnittsweise flächige und/oder ebene Tragstruktur für Aufbauten, wie ein Führerhaus, und zwei sich an einer Unterseite der Tragstruktur in Längsrichtung des Schienenfahrzeugs erstreckende Längsträger, wobei wenigstens einer der Längsträger im Verlauf dessen Längserstreckung eine Breitenaufweitung quer zur Längserstreckung aufweist, um einen zwischen den beiden Längsträgern gebildeten Aufnahmeraum für Fahrzeugkomponenten, wie Antriebs- und Hilfseinheiten, beispielsweise einen Transformator, zu vergrößern.
