摘要： A device for dispensing an individual plastic fastener from a supply of fastener stock includes a motor-driven head assembly adapted to receive the supply of fastener stock, sever an individual fastener from the supply and in turn eject the severed fastener. The head assembly includes a pair of needle block assemblies that retain corresponding hollow needles, each needle block assembly being shaped to define a feed channel that transitions a side rail for the fastener stock into axial alignment behind its corresponding needle. In addition, at least one needle block assembly includes a rearward shelf and a forward bowing plate. In use, the lowermost cross-links of the fastener stock fittingly align between the shelf and the bowing plate. In this manner, the lowermost cross-links are limited to distort uniformly upward within the single plane defined by the pair of feed channels, thereby optimizing feed reliability of the device.

摘要： A dual operating mode hand tool for dispensing plastic fasteners and a method for transitioning the hand tool from a first operating mode to a second operating mode is provided. The hand tool tagging gun can be used both to dispense a plastic fastener to attach labels, price tags or other items to articles, and also to dispense a plastic fastener to maintain certain articles of clothing in a folded condition. The hand tool has a gun shaped casing, a hollow needle, a needle assembly, a trigger, a locking switch, a safety button, and a hinged anvil. In the first operating mode the hand tool is best adapted to dispense plastic fasteners to maintain an article of clothing in a folded condition. In the second operating mode the hand tool is best adapted to dispense plastic fasteners to attach labels, price tags, or other items to an article of clothing.

摘要： An engagement member installation device that, when a connection member is discharged from the rear of a body after an engagement member is detached from a train of engagement members, reduces a burden on a worker and feeds the train reliably. In a feeding mechanism (70), according to operation force of an operation lever (12), a feeding member (72) is swung returned from a feeding position to a preparation position against urging force of a feeding spring (74), and then, with the operation force released, the feeding member (72) is swung sent to the preparation position to the feeding position by the urging force of the feeding spring (74). A booster (100) is provided between a piston member (22) and the feeding member (72), and advancement force applied to the piston member (22) is boosted and transmitted to the feeding member (72). As a result, the same force can be applied to the feeding member (72) with less operation force by the operation lever (12). This means that even when urging force of the feeding spring (74) is greater, a burden on a worker is reduced and the train of engagement members received in a reception groove (30) can be reliably fed.
