Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zum Ablegen eines Kabels, wobei das Kabel (60) mit einem Flyer (13, 19, 20) in schraubenförmigen Windungen auf einen nicht rotierenden Wickelkörper (31) abgelegt wird. Die Mantelfläche (32, 33) des Wickelkörpers (31) ist mit umlaufenden Förderorganen (35, 43) bestückt, die die Windungen in axialer Richtung transportieren und gezielt ablegen. Die Förderorgane (35, 43) sind über ein Getriebe mit der Hauptwelle (25) gekoppelt. Die Erfindung befaßt sich insbesondere mit dem Getriebe. Erfindungsgemäß sind in den Zwischenräumen benachbarter Förderorgane (35, 43) zur Hauptwelle (25) parallele Getriebewellen (51, 51') gelagert, die über einen Zahnriementrieb (52, 52'; 53, 53'; 54) von der Hauptwelle (25) her antreibbar sind. The webs are thus formed in a helical process, and the resulting tubular web is separated in a direction parallel to a helix angle. By separating the tubular web in a direction parallel to the helix angle, a flat multilayer meltblown fibrous web is provided that allows for incorporation of feathered edges formed during the article's manufacture.
